monkeymagic1969
I take it your ticket already states Deer species, if so i would say you have no worries,
Heladoxa
Why don't you phone your firearms officer and get the information first hand?
Dunkield
You don't need a variation, you are after removal of conditions. Call your FEO with your 'good reasons' and see what he says, if he can't see any reason why not, write to HQ with your FAC enclosed and they should do it. Billy.
If you've already had a renewal, you'll be fine for getting it opened. Just make sure you have a good reason on hand. My reason I gave for needing an open ticket was that I was asked to deal with a fox that had killed a load of poultry and the land wasn't cleared, meaning I couldn't complete my pest control duties.
