Timid dogs

whats the best course of action with timid dogs.

 

i,m not talking gun shy, think we are ok there at the moment.

 

its more if i raise my voice or if she knows shes done something wrong or meeting new dogs etc .

she,ll fall on the floor and wriggle on her back submiting sometimes weeing :good: .

 

is it best to just ignore it?? :good:

I had the exact same thing with my cocker until she was at least 1-2 years..

 

And I'm starting to see the same thing with my 13 week old Springer, he will pee when excited or told off

 

It's just a spaniel thing :oops:

My springer is 2 in December and can still **** like a jet wash if her bladder's full and she's excited. As for the submissive state, that's not timid it's just submissive relaxed greeting. All sounds normal mate... unfortunately :good:
