Topgunners
Hi All ! Well, we finally found where some of the pigeon population were today. Lovely clover. We set up 10 plastic deeks at around 11.30am this morning after spoting a few birds flying around and as the pattern built up so did the noseys pigs. We had them flying into the pattern from across the road nice and steady every couple of minutes and finished up with 181 pigeons for 225 shells. Ran out of shells.and didn't care a MONKEYS. Wot a brilliant day, after all the hard work put in over the last 5-6 weeks for nowt. God knows where tomorrow??? Any body else shooting any decent bags., elsewhere???? apbuild
Very well done Topgunners! In Oxfordshire, I have not seen any pigeon feeding enough to warrant an outing for ages. Rob.

apbuild
Hi Pete, Where have you been lately. I haven't seen you at the shoots. My permission at Warborough has been very quiet lately. I'm hoping it will pick up soon. Rob.
mallinson
I also set up on the clover on saturday night at 6.00pm after getting nothing all day on the peas. Packed up at half seven with a bag of 22. All these crops and they go to the grass and clover, typical isnt it
Topgunners
HEY MALLI! whereabouts in west yorky do you shoot as my H/O is in elland?. and as you said quite rightly ; all that crop and they eat the GRASS. But it still looks like not many BIG BAGS anywhere else unless they are all keyboard shy. LOL Dave K
