Boromir
My youngest and newest Labrador to the house has rolled in **** for the 2nd time this week. Why does he do this? The only answer I could think of and its probably a stupid one is that my older Labdrador is the dominant one and that the younger one is rolling round in **** to get smells of other dogs or something. Its totally chucked him in the river and washed it off thank god.
Imperfection
Mine has a (bad) habit of rolling in fox **** and the only thing i've found which gets the dog damn alwful stench out of his fur is tomato ketchup. No idea why they do it,but they need to stop! For this reason alone-they're a legitemate target in my opinion.
M ROBSON
At least he doesn't eat it!!!! I go wildfowling with a mate on a regular basis and his GWP follows me every time I go into the reeds for a ****. Last time it did it, he was laid next to the dog for a while before he noticed the brown smear around it's chops!!!! ps, I'm a goose guide in the winter and every morning I'm out my lab will spend the whole time we're setting the decoys out munching up as much goose **** as it can! At least it lets you know where the birds have been the day before.

Greenhunter
I think its to disguise their smell. Another example of the wolf underneath the family pet. GH

alexr
Both of mine like cat food particularly once its been through the cat. Cuts down on the need to clean out the litter tray, but often the first you know of it is the smell on their breath. They are also like goose poo.
