Fisherman Mike
I have had a massive punt one horse tomorrow ( cant tell you how much cus the wife might read this) but if it comes in the proceeds will pay for this years family Holiday. The Horse is called Vanderlin and it runs in the 4.20. Everything seems to be in its favour and I will be well P****d if it doesnt manage a place. I like the Jockey booking too. Two others worthy of note are Barry Hills Gilt Linked in the 4.55. I backed this at Sandown in May on its debut and it ran rather green but when the penny dropped inside the final furlong it looked to have some considerable improvement available. It was tenderly ridden by the jockey that day. In the last Henry Cecil saddles Hachita and this could do the Business. There was a time not so long ago when any Cecil runner at Royal Ascot would have been a very short priced favorite... I would imagine Cecil has this tuned up as tight as a stretched rubber band. It won for me at Leicester a couple of weeks back so owes me nowt and should have some improvement in him. FM

Cheers Mike, for the second (and last) time this year you have reminded me why i stopped betting on horses over 4 years ago. If you read this NTTF, the first week of your holiday's beer money has gone!!! :(
Teal
In the Ribblesdale, SOMETHING EXCITING (5/2) produced an even better performance in defeat behind Eswarah than when winning beforehand at Goodwood. A repetition would more than suffice here and she is my banker of the entire meeting! In the Britannia i fancy NOTABILITY (8/1), from a good draw and with form figures of 1-2-1-2-1 breaks well, and should get the run of the race. Unexposed with just six career runs will handle the ground and despite the size of the field is a confident pick. Enforcer and Mostashaar are feared most. ------- this is what I heard... good luck folks.
