Slug
Not wanting to Jack the Gloves thread, and as my first winter shooting approaches, what does everyone wear on the upper half instead of the light weight skeet type jacket ?..remember these threads are useless without pictures... beretta
wear what you narmaly wear cover up with a big warm jacket and take it off to shoot when its your turn (2mins thats all) if you wear to much your gun will seem longer due to the thickness on your shoulder. Dunkield
If you want to look 'the part' you need to get a thin waterproof jacket and then wear your skeet vest over the top of that. I don't need to, so I just wear an 'normal' game/rough shooting coat, or if it is cold and dry I have old winchester quilted jacket somewhere. Peter De La Mare
This Musto clay shooting jacket is thin, and the usual water and wind proof, along with the matching trousers. Saved me at the BO last year where is was horizontal rain all day and tornado winds. Else I couldn't have shot it and would have wasted the £90 entry fee. Slug
Just put a coat on? I did consider that but not quite sure what constitutes shooting coats ?..A hoody from primark with a bit of muffin top guts hanging over ?..I asked the question, so far so good

Only ****** rummage around in a cartridge box for their shells. You see them at Worsley. Shell suit, trainers and two boxes of 25 D & J's on the ground next to them. Takes them ages to reload, as they're rummaging on the deck and spilling them
Chris Bb
Just put a coat on? It's just got to have big pockets. Wax jacket over whatever necessary layers of wool does it for me. Plus wax/waterproof leggings if it's that bad, take it from me, cold wet legs don't make for fun shooting! Plus, I hate to say it, when it's really cold thin neoprene gloves do help. And don't forget a hat.
