deputy dog
AFTER WHAT SEEMED THE LONGEST WEEK WAITING IN MY LIFE, I'M GALD TO TELL YOU THAT I WENT TO BUY MY NEW GUN YESTERDAY. MY TICKET EVENTUALY COME THROUGH TUESDAY, WHICH WAS HANDY FOR ME, BECAUSE ITS PAY DAY LOL . I BOUGHT A .17HMR IN THE END, THOUGH I DID PUT IN FOR A .22LR AS WELL. BUT FOR SOME REASON GWENT POLICE DONT LIKE LETTING 2 RIFLES ON 1ST GRANTS. NEEDLESS TO SAY THOUGH, THAT I WAS PLEASED AS PUNCH PUTTING MY COMBO TOGETHER FOR 1ST TIME. I BOUGHT A CZ 452 AMERICAN WITH NIKO 4+16 BY 44 ILLUMINATING SCOPE AND A SAK SILENCER. 500 ROUNDS OF V MAX 20 GRAIN HORNADY AND OTHER BITS N BOBS. COST ME JUST OVER £700 FOR THE LOT. WHICH I THOUGH WAS SUPERB, CONCIDERING THE AIR RILFES IN THE SHOP WERE NEARLY A GRAND ON THEIR OWN. OFF UP TO MY SHOOTING GROUND NOW TO GET MYSELF AQUAINTED WITH MY NEW GUN. LOOKING FORWARD TO SATURDAY AND MY 1ST HUNTING SESSION WITH HER. BE GLAD TO LET YOU KNOW HOW WE BOTH GOT ON LOL . GOOD SHOOTING TO ALL GARETH :yp:

al4x
nice choice of gun but not so sure on the ammo choice, you're better off with vmax rounds the 20 grain won't be unless they've brought out a new bullet

deputy dog
JUST COME IN FROM MY VERY 1ST SHOOTING SESSION WITH MY NEW .17HMR. AND I GOT TO SAY, WHAT A SERIOUS PIECE OF KIT IT REALLY IS. POPPED ABOUT 30 REOUNDS AT 50 YARDS AND WITH A FEW CLICKS OF THE TURRETS, SHE WAS SPOT ON. EVEN FOR A NEWBIE TO FIRE ARMS SHOOTING, I COULDN'T BELIVE HOW ACCURATE IT REALLY WAS AND WITH VERY LITTLE RECOIL. I MOVED TO 75 YARDS AND 1 CKICK DOWN AND ANOTHER 30 SHOTS BLEW OUT A FEW MORE BULLS. SO I CAN SAFLEY SAY THAT COME SATURDAY MORNING, THE LOCAL RABBIT AND CROW POPULATION SHOULD TAKE SERIOUS COVER LOL, BECAUSE DEATH IS COMING WITH A VENGENCE HA HA. SO YOU CAN SAFLEY SAY THAT YOU GOT ONE HAPPY BUNNY WITH ONE CRACKING BIT OF KIT. AND THOSE HORNADY V MAX 17 GRAIN CARTRIDGES ARE SUPERB. I'V READ COUNTLESS REVIEWS ON THE .17HMRS. AND ALL ARE PRETTY MUCH SPOT ON. HAPPY DAYS ALROUND. WOULF DEFO RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY ONE AND ITS ONLY BEEN 60 ODD ROUNDS I'V SHOT SO FAR. ALL BEST GARETH
