taffygun
1" high @ 100yds this will give you Zero @ 175yds 2nd Zero @ 40yds +/- 1" from 15yds - 200 yds 4" drop @ 250yds 9" drop @ 300yds So pretty much aim straight at it out to 200yds  Edited September 19, 2009 by taffygun
Mungler
Taffy gun, you got a link to an idiot proof ballistic graph / webby with the calculators on it? I had one somewhere but can't find it now - I have a very cluttered desktop and favorites folder.

Mungler
Quick question, how do you "in put" a new bullet - the default is a Winchester .270 and I can't shift that. It needs a nice big drop down menu or something.
Saker Clive
You've down loaded it programe I take it  click on Load Info (top left), then click on New Load (bottom 2nd in) a blank detailed page opens so you can input all the relevant info. George1990
Ballistic co-efficient means...? Edited September 20, 2009 by George1990
Saker Clive
Ballistic co-efficient means...? Basically it's how aerodynamic the bullet is. If you go to the manufacurers website, it should state to co-efficiency of it's rounds. A Hollow Point is going to have more drag than a ballistic tipped round. Shootingman
Another quick question, I cannot change & save the target distance, whatever distance I enter it will always revert back to the default distance of 250yds. Otherwise I find it a great bit of software.
henry d
hi all was curious to know what range to zero a .222 rem at using 50 grain bullets 1-1/2" high @100yds, but I am using homeloads and will be doing a load of paper punching to see what she can do @ much longer ranges. Yes M8 here http://www.norma.cc/javapage_US2.asp?Lang=2 You can click on define your own bullet and enter weight and BC (if you know it) problem is it only goes up to 600yds but when hunting not many of us go that far  Edited September 20, 2009 by taffygun

Otherwise I find it a great bit of software. I think it's a default setting on the 250 yards. You can save your 'loads' but you will still need to input the target distance. Once you input the info. for a particular load hit Save to Text and it will store that load for you. You then call it up by going to Open Load......................................
