I think I am just going to use someone who knows what they’re doing! Any recommendations for stock finishers?

Hi Just refinishing a shotgun stock, I'm going to be using some wood grain filler and sealer as there are some big holes in the grain! Do I put the filler on the chequering as well? TIA

Guess I also need to upgrade from a green scouring pad! Would wire wool or a metal scourer work?

Currently stripping down the furniture on my 525. It’s taking a lot of work, done 4 coats of nitro mors and removed it with a scouring pad. It’s only just taken the shine off. Am I doing something wrong?

For Sale: Browning 525 Sporter One with an adjustable stock, 12g, 28 inch barrel. The gun is in mint condition with around 750 cartridges fired. The woodwork has been hydro-dipped with walnut burl, the gun is a real head turner at gun clubs! It has also been laquered with the same product used on bowling pins, so will stand up to the usual wear and tear. The gun also comes with a complete set of Diamond Invector chokes and is fitted with a kick-eze recoil pad, although can also take the standard Browning Inflex pad and spacers.
