  1. Pretty good, out again with it tonight
  2. I removed the battery and refitted it and now everything seems to work so hopefully it was just a glitch
  3. Last time I was out at night I could see the splash in the target
  4. I’m using it the same way I would use my hand held ranger, in fact probably holding it still for longer I’ve tried from about 5 yd to around 200
  5. Hi all, I bought a used pard nv007 and I’m really struggling to get a reading with the LRF unit, I originally thought it was due to turret interference but now I can’t get it work when held in my hands and not sure what to try now? Jamie
  6. I used it a couple of times but I found I preferred just then base mag
  7. For those who interested 1st pic - fox roughly 80yds away 2nd pic - fox front on at around 150yds white dot to the right is a rabbit at about 200yrds 3rd pic - fox curled up around 100yrds 4th pic - group of roe around 200-250yds (I was struggling to get a good gauge of how far from the far fence they where)
  8. I purchased an ATN blaze hunter 635 with the 630 sensor using the offer on the Stalking’s directory, only had around the local woods for a little test but seems like a great peice of kit so far
  9. Not HP proofed but will be fine with standard steel was built in 1994
  10. Do the batteries not loose life over the space of a year or so?
  11. That’s what was drawing me to the lynx, I think the Infiray is better value for money but the batteries are specific to Infiray from what I’ve read and are about £40 each
  12. Stalking directory? Yeah I am to be honest I don’t know that much about all the tech side but I understand the 640 sensor is best?
  13. There’s plenty In the price bracket and that’s the problem haha, just trying to make sure o get the most I can for my money
  14. Morning all, i have around £1300 to spend on a thermal spotter and have found the following options HIKMICRO lynx 2.0 lh35 (£1249) Infiray finder fh35r v2 (£1299, reduced from £2599) pulsar helion xq50f (£1200) The lynx is the only one I’ve had hands on experience of and does seem great value for money the Infiray comes with Laser range finding and being a more expensive model I’m assuming will have better performance? the pulsar was apparently top dog in its day but they’re not around 7-8yr old so do they still beat the newer competition? all thoughts appreciated
