interesting to see so many rubbishing something they have never tried..

For the occasional shooter , novice or just plain poor shooter like me a red dot or scope confirms correct mounting,

shows up a flinch , lack of follow through and poor trigger control..

Also gives a point of reference relative to target that i can actually see

Seriously, Why not take some lessons to brush up your technique if you think your shooting is poor. I have only been clay shooting since February and am up to 60% with help of a good teacher. Only £35/hour one to one at our local ground.

I've shot clays with a shotgun with red dot mounted it was terrible it makes you aim not point. If it helped why do none of the top shots do it, why do you not see it on grounds.

Seriously go and see a coach of you have that any issues you can see the coach will find more and may even fix it in seconds few.

Correct mounting a decent coach can tell you that.

A flinch not quite sure how a scope will tell you that??

Lack of follow through.. im no expert but a very long shot ( no pun) but I can tell if I stab or ambush rather than keep the gun flowing.

Poor trigger control cant quite see how a scope will help that.

Basically all the above could be helped with by seeing a decent coach.

Zeroing was a problem but a couple of rolls of duct tape and a handy fallen tree sorted that. The scopes seemed to break and something inside is rattling, the shop owner laughed when i asked for a refund!

going to use nail varnish remover to get duct tape glue off the barrels and woodwork.
