woody801
Hello I have the above gun and I'm having some problems with accuracy. I can zero the gun so its bob on at 12 yards but when I move out to 24 yards the gun shoots left. At 36 yards its a long way left. I'm aware that you have to addjust for pellet drop at longer distance but surely it should still shoot straight. I have a seal kit i'm gonna put on. Any ideas? Thanks Michael
plank06
What pellets are you using? It could be the pellet that doesn't suit your barrel. Air arms pellets and bisley magnums are perfect in my S400!
Harvey1972
I'd start by loosening the barrel clamp then re tighten, following that I'd check the scope mounts. Edited December 19, 2014 by Harvey1972
woody801
I use Bisley long rang gold plank. Harvey I've checked the mounts, they are ok. I will have a go at the barrel clamp. Thanks lads
darren 67
Has it got a silencer on it? If it has have you tried with it removed.
Longbower
Ditto with the barrel clamp! Mine does the same . Slacken the grub screws completely ,and let the barrel float free. Then 'nip' them up . Problem should be solved.
rapid rich
I'd start by loosening the barrel clamp then re tighten, following that I'd check the scope mounts. I'd be surprised if the barrel clamp wasn't the problem. Rich
woody801
Thanks for the replies. Most helpful. I'll have a look at it this weekend.
timmytree
I would also check that the sights are centred correctly, vertical crosshair in line with the axis of the barrel. Also check that you're not canting the rifle when you hold it.
