dogfox
went out to my new stubble permission with the decoys and about 16 32g 6s and 5 32g 4s, set up behind a straw bale i had pushed intoa ditch with hawthorn cover and waited, after about 40 mins crows by the dozen started to come in, one flew over me from right to left..BAM! a puff of feathers and down he goes witha thud, hes used as a decoy! i knew it would be a good evening! throughout the session there were birds everywhere representing themselves as targets, after an hour and a half session i packed in having run out of carts ! , my cart:kill ratio is improving slightly! i finished with 7 crows!! am loving this new permission! here the piccies! here are the crows and below is my view from my hide

steve_b_wales
7 crows or 70, it doesn't matter. Every dead crow is one less to do damage to crops etc. I sometiems only get 3-4, then maybe 15-20. It's the going out and taking part that makes it a good day.
