  1. bought Delphi discs to go on the rear of my defender with EBC pads, I hope the discs last longer than they did on my Berlingo van or one of them, it warped after about 2 years and less than 10,000 miles only the one never had sticking calipers or heavy braking
  2. Head position was good with a PVS and I dont htink these are any longer, as for lamping that's what I do now and this is the problem the odd lamp shy ones that are about
  3. What suits one person isn,t always going to suit another, Tha Archer is food to look through but to long for me the PVS14 looks really good size and image but can't justify the money, so if the arrow is anywhere near these I know it won't be as good but for the price If it does the job I will be happy
  4. I shall look forward to that and any other reviews, if I don't get the chance to try one I shall have to rely on others reviews I have been putting off buying NV for a couple of years now, this year I am determined more so since using a Yukon ranger for spotting
  5. Or if anyone is trying it could they mention what scope they are using, The chances of me knowing anyone with one are slim + I would not ask to borrow unless it was from the manufacturer for a fee with a view to buy if it works ok
  6. What scope are you putting it behind Colin ? I have a Swaro 2.5-15x56 hoping it will work behind that
  7. Does anybody know where I can get a similar product like the Nightmaster fully adjustable rail mount for less than the £39.95 they charge, I want this to go on my Yukon ranger monocular, Thanks barney
  8. Store mine bolt open, never had a problem
  9. when I bought my Defender 90 I had a few jobs before I put it on the road one was to service it, when I changed the filter it was full of red diesel so I also drained the tank, at the time we were running HMRC exhibition trailer so I asked the chap delivering it to ask about the situation and was told, drain the tank and change the filters and that is all that can be expected, so near as damn it from the horses mouth and that was what I did, then kept receipts for diesel from when I bought it just in case there was any argument
  10. Depends what you want from it, granted not the fastest, not bad on fuel and cheap to repair and will go forever looked after
  11. The to far away thing is a big point for me, as its the time and I dont like traveling so I usually try to arrange a meet that both partys agree,or if others are willing to travel I will offer cost of fuel, as long as both partys are happy I see no problem, thing to remember is if you dont like being messed about then dont do it to others.
  12. Are you having it off Starlight or Scott Country and have you paid a deposit ? can't make my mind up wether to order one or wait and see what there like from others
  13. Some very good diy,s so I have heard but not all of us have the know how and those that have don,t give away there secrets due to the time and money spent developing in case they take it further and sell, so by the time the likes of me and others have looked into it and spent money on bits we don,t need and then tweaked what we do then sometimes better to buy something working. I take my hat off to those that spend there time developing there diy,s and I can,t blame people for not willingly giving up there hard earned secrets, I kow there is a few that do give details out and fair play to those as well
  14. When you hoping to get it ? I am very keen, I do understand that they won,t match gen 3 but if you never had gen 3 then I wont be able to compare, Thanks barney
  15. Scott country,s website says 300-400yds clearly identify fox sized target with the high sensitivity model

  20. I have just bought a Yukon 5x42 digital monocular and would like to mount my NM400 ir onto it, how do you lads mount yours ? I guess it needs to be adjustable to get the beam in the right place, Thanks barney
