  1. Seaman Staines never existed and the cabin boy was called Tom. Master mate was the name of a character so Tom the cabin boy and Master Mate still sounds wrong.

I believe a Pugwash is a Gay Sex Activity but as I am my work PC at the Airport I do not want to google it.

It wasnt master mate it was master bates wasnt it ?

  2. when mum used to make it, it was a whole bucket full of flower head sugar, water, 2 chopped lemons...in a big earthernware pot...then eventually strained into screwtop bottles....dont put the bottles too close together cause i have seen them set each other off...they went off like the proofing room at birmingham....

not very alcholic but very nice

  3. that looks like a nice oiled finish........if i was using that gun regular i would leave it like that and just keep on feeding it every week with oil..........as i said before if you want a glass like finish go for the rubbing oil, but the finish you get will show any scratches up.

if you dont oil it regular (if you deciede to leave it like that) it will develope small dry patches.........takes a long while for oil to soak in so keep at it...you might get a better finish if you apply the oil with cabinate makers fine grade wire wool, then wipe off and buff

  4. once it is dry used a soft cloth and buff it well, as i said get some heat in it.........if that dont work wipe it off with spirits or meths and use a purdy rubbing oil, i think it comes in a 2 bottle pack......i think the stuff you are using is like linseed oil....just leaves an protective oiled finish.........rubbing oil will leave a glass finish if you stick at it....

  5. build your own one....make a plan.....go to a timber yard and talk with the sawer...as said in previous replies you will get more for your money.......oh and one other thing................make it as big as possible.....cause once you start to use it , you will say to yourself ..."i wish that was a foot wider or 3 foot longer !!

get the yard to fresh cut featherboard for you, dont be fixed on the size as the yard might have a load of seasoned planks from a previous order they couldnt sell.......

  6. Sorry Zapp ! will supply a bit more info...

    marquee as said 12m x 6m

    price £ 350.00 / weekend or £ 500.00 / whole week

the marquee can be made smaller...and this would reflect in the price

    regards

  8. as my parents taught me, leave nothing and take only memories and your birds ;)

her indoors used to say many moons ago......"dont bring anything home that i cant eat or play with"........yes that was a long while ago.............

  9. i think the photograher is a scum sucking parasite....if i was there regardless of which woman was been throttled, i wouldnt have thought of getting my i-phone out and taking a picture to flog it to some parasitic paparattzi pillock plc...i would have run up and pushed the blokes teeth down his throat.....
