You can upload files to your "hosting" which can be attached to our domaines. although if you wanted to share files with a few people the easiest way to do it is to set up either an FTP server or a web server on your home machine. Home FTP Loads of free software to do it, you can simply install and run this software and then assign profiles, so you could give people access to get the files or put files on there themselves if they wanted to share something with you. Home web servers Much the same although all you so is put the files in the folder and the transactions are one way. In either case you just give people you IP addess and they can use it. or you can get a free forwarding domain ("mungler.freeDomaineHoster.com") and do it that way. John

My condolences radio1ham & Darebear. I lost my Golden Lab Holly a few months ago so my heart goes out to you. Aged 11, had her since I was 12. Daft as a brush and scared of her own shadow. But always waiting wagging her tail when I got home, or squinting down the stairs when I came in late and she had just woken up. Hey sorry to drag this back up. but I just joined the forum to do some more reading on applying for a FAC and noticed something that I can actually help on. There are at least 4 ways to open a "safe" like this, if not 5. and all take under a minute. Even if it was officially passed as something you could store ammunition in I wouldn't recommend it. B&Q do a doubled sided 4 lever lock mechanical safe which should be easy enough to upgrade to past BS ratings even up to a 7 or 9 lever safe lock. and its only £20.00ish. As a tip anything with a mechanical override is a waste of money and any safe with an electronic keypad or user interface under a group1 safe lock is not worth bothering with.
