  1. Hi, what area would collection be from please?
  2. Hi, what area is this for collection?
  3. Jesus, that's a bargain and a half! Shame I'm beyond my pocket money allowance this month! 😑
  4. I've got one near identical to this but nowhere near as tidy! Lovely piece!
  5. Thanks for the interest, gun now sold.
  6. Canon 5D Mkiii, the shot photos are both with the 70-200 2.8 IS L. Haha absolutely! It was a hit, may have had to send the dog but it would have been a kill none the less!
  7. This was probably the 3rd of 4th attempt. Once I'd got the focus fixed where my friend was hitting the clays it wasn't too hard! The shot hasn't quite hit the clay there, I'm stood under the clay to the left of the shooter. Amazing to see how much of a spread there is there! Don't remember the gun/choke combo now...
  8. Just thought I'd post a couple of my shooting photos! Shot on the clay by James Anderton, on Flickr Shot in flight by James Anderton, on Flickr Black Powder Flash by James Anderton, on Flickr Lincoln Artwork by James Anderton, on Flickr Cogswell & Harrison by James Anderton, on Flickr
  9. Is this still available please?
  10. It was my first flush also! Certainly much fun had by myself and the rest of 'Team Wabbitbosher' Even if it did take a couple of washes to get all the black powder residue off my hands in the pub hahaha! I'll certainly be coming along to the next one! Cheers Alan for all the effort you clearly put into setting up a great day for everyone!
  11. It doesn't do the sound any justice either, or the smell!! Epic fun though!!
  12. I've been trying to get hold of some short gun slips for a couple of my guns, e.g. 20b s/s, .410 etc but I'm finding most gun slips seem to be about 50" and stuffing a sock in the end of the slip isn't the best of solutions! Ideally one to suite 24" barrels would be ideal! Any suggestions on where to look for a short slip on a reasonable budget?
  13. I've got a 20hp Mariner 2-stroke up for sale, although smaller than what you're after!
  14. i have tried various types of rechargeables over my photography years to power the flashguns, I used to use the 7dayshop 2900mah's but found you used to get odd cells fail and got fed up of them, currently use the panasonic Eneloops and they're fantastic in comparison! I'd recommend them all day long!
  15. Handy thing with Just Cartridges is that you can pay the 1000 price on mixed types of cartridge, is this the case with smaller gun shops? I've never bought varying types of cartridge from other places, just 4 slabs of whatever I'm shooting at the time...
  16. I've bought a 24-105 f4 L and a 5D Mkiii from Panamoz (hong kong imports). When I bought the lens I got sent the import charge, contancted them and they paid the charge. When I bought the 5D there were no issues! My 50mm 1.8 never leaves my bag any more, I still can't bring myself to get rid of it.... Just know it will one day come in very handy! Some cracking photos here James, I need to get mine out the bag more often!!
  17. I've been shooting right handed for years since using air rifles as a kid, so when I progressed onto shotguns I naturally carried on shooting right handed and shooting left feels so alien by now I wouldn't switch! I am however left eye dominant and it effects my hit rate. I took the simple approach of partially closing my left eye, not even to a squint, has been working for me for the past 16 years and not even cost me a roll of tape!
  18. Never started a youngster off, but my dad used to take me to the Sunday shoots from probably around 4/5, by 6 I used to collect spent cartridges and intact clays from the site and line them up on the fence on the edge of the field and plink them off with an air rifle. Started shooting clays at around 12 or so
  19. Cheers for the replies, I emailed Spitfire and got a reply today saying what their setup is and I'm going to give them a shot (mind the pun) then look at going for a good session when I'm back at Christmas!
