went out yesterday an checked some young sappling trees on a hillside, there was a fair old bit of damage...heres 2 of the offenders

it look like its been dookin for chips...

hes a vetrain thats one lb....dam was a 3/4 greyhound 1/4 salukie and his sire was a bitza

seen four roe that wasnt shootable and walked on, seen another three in some young sapplings and one of them seen me before i seen it, so stood stalk still for a few minutes till it started feeding and necked it

we tried to chase em a bit nearer the oven ..there a lot easier to drag over hills wi there vitals aff...to where the camera was...thats camera cost me a tenner ya know...an im not gona lose it

me and a mate went out this morning him with his newe .243 ready for action...lol...anyway we got there as it was gettin light and it was sleet an snow and we were about to rap it an go home when we got a break...so of we went and it want long before i spotted a nice doe down in a hollow about 150 yds off so after i got him on to it...he took the the shot and hit it right on the button,,,i was well chuffed for him coz hes not had much luck with deer ..just one of them things..lol...anyway it was nice to see his big moanin face smile for a change...i made him graloch it himself( moan moan moan)...and as he was doin it 3 other deer run over the hill rite towards us, so i told him to hid his face or they'd **** off for sure..lol..but they stopped about 6 milloin yards up the hill an i shot one...lol... ..well it might not have been that far... but whos was countin..lolol... anyway heres the pic...lol

please dont think it was a snipe at you gsw....i have known if you shoot and drop a deer and they move on a bit and you stalk up to them again it counts... ..like i said mate well done and congrats....i hope you you have lots more deer to come...

shouldnt it be 3 sucsessfull stalks and not 3 deer culled i i know a few assesors that wont let you away with culling 2 deer on one stalk....but then again i know a few eijit assesors....lol..well done mate congrats...

iv been helping private forestry ppl to kerb young sappling trees and found over half of them desimated be deer and hares..so guess whos got the job of culling them ..lol...theres high seats in place now ready for the job and out of season ticked granted..heres few pics first ones of damaged trees the spaces you see is where trees should be the rests just looking around..its a nice place to work theres a fox in this one but the shot was a bit dodgy but i know where its coming from now it was a bit far out as well id zoomed this pic in a bit but its not the best of cameras.. and a result on the first day
