  1. I'm trying to sort this out as I'm sure I'm at a xmas meal on the sat night so might not be in a very good condition to be handling a shotgun! I'll let you know as soon as I can but don't hold any places for me if anyone else is interested.

There should also be a supply of kanga pants available if I'm shooting cos you'll all be wetting yourselves!! :good:

  2. Yeah, he showed up Toseland who has been really disapointing in motogp.

    shaun

Not only Toseland, he came home in front of some very good riders including Dovizioso on the HRC Works Honda. I think Spies will be a force next season.

  3. A few of my mates from work went down to the air rifle range at Steve Smith's Clay Ground, near Dinnington Village on Saturday. It's in the area of Newcastle Airport for anybody who hasn’t been.

I didn’t notice this when I went for a lesson on the clays but they paid a fiver for as long as you like and they have some interesting targets apparently. I'm planning on going down for at least a few hours on either Thursday or Friday so if anybody is planning on going give me a shout

Mike, the rifle range is on the right just as you enter the car park at Steve Smiths (see my quality drawing :hmm: ).

  4. Well done Frenchieboy. :ernyha:

It's 3 1/2 years for me now and there are still times when I could pick up a fag (not the right word to use on here :P ) cigarette but thank god I don't. It's not easy so stick with it and it will get better, and your right to watch your weight as it's sooooooo easy to substitute the tabs for food (as my 2 1/2 stone will testify).

  5. I think if shaun can find out how many the club can cater for we will know more abt numbers so can start a list.

I would suggest that PW members get first dibs and if theres spaces left anyone else is welcome? Does that sound fair?

    Sounds fair to me. :hmm:

  6. Is this just for PW members or can we bring a friend? (Sunday would be good for me but no promises yet)

Also, who's going to hold my hand for the morning as I've never shot clays before (apart from a few off a little machine at my permission) and have not got a clue what happens.

How long would this last (1hr, 2hr, 4hr)?

  8. There's some valuable sheep about!

You are not wrong there, my friend.

A Scottish ram has become the most expensive sheep in the world after being sold for a record £231,000 (374,000 dollars) at an agricultural auction, it was reported Friday. Deveronvale Perfection was bought by a sheep farmer from Lanark, near Glasgow, who intends to use it for breeding, hoping to recoup the purchase price several times over.
