  2. This one is very similar to my fizzy, great memories of that little bike. My dad bought it for me as a suprise but I

had to wait around 6 months before I was old enough to ride it, I used to spend nearly every night in the garage

cleaning and polishing that little bike.

Happy 27th Wedding anni  :good: .

    Trev

You must be desperate for strictly to finish so you can get your dessert!

  4. Not used it on children but

My wife has just got over swine flu and she used Tamiflu with no side effects. She was still very ill with the flu and tamiflu does not cure it, it is only supposed to ease the symptoms and reduce the time you are infected. As I say, my wife did improve but was it the Tamiflu or just the body beating the flu ?? ........... I can't honestly say but I do know my wife was very poorly and if Tamiflu did reduce the symptoms then I'd have hated to see how ill my wife would have been without it.

  5. I've tried a few farmers around ponteland without much luck as a lot of the farmland around there is Blagdon estates and they have their own guns on the land.

I've got permission on a few fields beside Newcastle airport but to be honest there are too many public footpaths around it which always seem busy so I don't go very often. On this permission I also always inform the police I'm shooting as it's right under the flight path and I don't want any awkward situations. :hmm:

  6. Below, I re-produce what is, IMO, the only review of SMK's you ever need. I am entirely grateful to Snakebite for this literary masterpiece.
Good point, the SMK has the added bonus of being able to dismantle itself after you have become disillusioned with it, thus making it easier to burn.

With a bit of fettling however you are able to get it to land within a 6' radius of the zero point each time you lob it at a rabbit. This is infact more accurate than actually shooting it. As another option, increasing it's versatility is that you can gaffa tape a kitchen knife to the end of it whilst your grandad shouts "They don't like it up 'em Mr. Mainwairing". Perfect for those Winter evening shenanigans when daylight is at a premium.

Now that is funny, I nearly sprayed my monitor with a gob full of tea with that one.:no:

  7. I was loading my wagon at a BOC depot at birtley and it is their rules that you cannot stay in the wagon while it's getting loaded. So I was out of the wagon loading it and didn't know anything about 9/11 until around 4pm UK time when I was leaving the site and had to sign out at security. I had never seen so many people crammed into the security office and when I asked what was going on, the security officer said "there's been an attack on the twin towers and it's possible up to 30,000/40,000 people have been killed" I had never felt so strange in all my life, and doubt I will ever get that feeling again.

I got home that evening and sat watching tv all night not being able to get my head around what had actually happened.

    A very evil attack

  8. Has this credit crunch affected anyone else to the point where you had to sell something you really didn't want too?

kind of but also i got screwed at work was sacked but appealed and won so now back there but during the time of being sacked and getting a appeal date i had to sell my carp fishing gear all good stuff like delks shimano ect so i had money to pay the bills now i am really starting to wish i had kept it as i keep getting the urge to go

The urge only seems worse because you don't have your gear, I know how you feel. I have got up this morning and it's lovely sunshine and nice dry roads, a day I would have had the bike out for sure. :good:

Look at it this way? You can always get another.. What if you didnt have that material item to sell? Could be worse bro.. You are both breathing, so that is all that matters at this point.. I do see a newer model in your future? Perhaps a real bike? Like a HOG!! :D:P
A Hog :D , but we don't have the long straight roads like you do and hogs don't like our bendy roads! :D

i never get too emotionally attached to any gun.i like getting new ones.
At the moment I can't afford new guns, but I did keep my old ones and they'll be staying.

Always a special moment to see your first scan (i bet you got pictures to show everyone).

  12. It is only recently that i have heard these rumblings, and i steer clear of them. If it were true , these theories? I for one would take up arms against my defunct government..

I personally think all these theories are just utter rubbish, it was a terrorist attack (and a very evil one at that) but nothing else.

  13. I pray to god there is no Governmental Conspiracy as i think that would be the straw that would break the peoples back..

Lee, do you (as an american) think there could be any conspiracy over 911 ?

  14. Here are a couple of pics to show how the hands and face stand out without camo. It's even more obvious when you are in good cover or among the trees and your face and hands are showing. It has the effect of those black screen puppets, meaning your body with camo is nearly invisible against the background and all that is seen is hands and face. (I did spare you all my ugly mush and covered it!)
