  1. Not sure, i lent it from a friend. Its like an airgun lamp. Always lamped from a truck, but i do it on my own now and its an absolute chew on carrying sticks, gun, lamp and battery plus game bag. I shoot on a golf course sometimes so have to be very careful with not leaving any traces of being there too.

I have had 50 over this weekend with the gun, i cant endorse the little CZ's enough. fantastic.

My dad is a farmer, now retired, gave up his FAC a while back but wants to get back into it. So is reapplying. He is debating between a 22.rf, a .17 or a .22 Mag (which i have no knowledge of whatsoever, neither .17 for that matter)

    Any advice?

  2. Right pushing towards buying a .243. Is it really worth putting a moderator on it. It will be the occasional fox, and the even more occassional deer.

I have spoken to my cousing, who has several rifles, DSC1 and 2. Also loads all his own ammo. And he said, why spend an extra 2/300 quid, for a barely unnoticeable reduction!?

  3. I have pretty much the same dilemna as you. But i think i will do 70% rough/game shooting and 30%. So i am going for a game gun, but a multi choke. Any amount of brownings.........but have no idea of the 325,425,525's etc and what they offer.

A berretta, my ideal buy is a silver pigeon grade 3. So am possibly holding out to save another few hundred quid or buy one second hand!?

  4. He was practicing using my CZ .22 on a range in a field and was hitting in a 3 " circle quite regularly at 50yrds. Couldt believe it.

So took him on a relatives farm and he got this little lot. No whinging, apart from his wellies being uncomfy. My sticks were just a touch too tall for him. He did well though.

    We got 40 all together.

  5. Looking to Sell the above. 2.0 TDI Volkswagon Passat SE. 55 Reg. CD Player, Electric Windows, AIR Con, Cruise Control, In Car Phone Kit. Mot'd Until August 2010. Full Service History. 59,000 miles. £6,800.

I keep having to borrow a car to do what i want to do as to keep mine in good condition. No point it just sitting there.

  6. Hey guys,

i know the difference of the two but, if you were to buy an all round gun to do the business, what would you go for? A sporter multichoke or a game gun? Am i correct in thinking game guns are always fixed chokes?

    Cheers

    Rob

  7. New addition the the collection. Went for CZ 452 Varmint. Had it out twice, and feeds and shoots like a little dream. Much better than i expected. Would highly recommend to anyone requiring a little work horse.
