  11. Just though I'd post some pics of how the new pup is coming along!
  12. If I dare mention another site www.internetgunclub.com is a good site but it requires a subscription, either that or google themakers name. What is it that you have?
  13. Vintage Gun Case for sale. It will take a shotgun with barrels up to 30.5 inches long. It is lined with brown beize / velvet. It has 3 brass locks but unfortunatley I do not have the key. It is made out of what looks like some treated canvas type material but I am no expert, maybe some sort of vynal?! It is edged with what looks to be thick strong leather. The handle is also made of good thick leather and is atatched well. It is in overall good condition and will come with some cleaning rods etc. There is no makers name at all. It will make a good addition to a collection for a vintage shotgun. Would benifit from light restoration perhaps. I am looking for about £30 + £12 postage as it is rather heavy!! If you would like to see pics I have also put it on ebay, item no. 330340701709
  14. I had a 1979 Yeoman, I reblued the action and it looke like new, fantastic gun and easy to replace firing pins etc as they have disc set strikers
  15. forgot to say you will need the serial no. They are cracking guns, wish I'd not got rid of mine a while back now.
  16. Hardest bit is getting it out of the machine!
  17. If you go to the AYA website and email you get a spanish guy reply over night. In his broken english he will tell you the model and the date. They are really helpfull.
  18. Someone had listed it so that it ended at 9am. I reckon' most people are at work at that time so can't bid as easily. I put a bid in with about 8mins to go and won!
  19. After all my previous trouble on fleabay last week, finally managed to grab myself a bargain, 4 gun cabinet for £41!! Well chuffed
  20. I've seen one on guntrader at £130, has a safety but I dont know whether its auto or not, but I've had a few other guns off the guy and they've all seemed spot on. I've asked him to reserve itf or me till I can get round next week. The stock looks like it could do with stripping and re-doing but that shouldn't be much of a problem. I've checked out the makers website and they've been making guns since the 1920's, they're still going which is more than most.
  21. nitromors is good at getting the old varnish off without damaging any wood / chequering
