the foxes arn't showing up at night so he can't get them the shooting land isn't that big either so that also makes it difficult but it was still a good day

i went out to my local shoot of which me and my grandad are sydicate memebers of i got there and picked the peg got number 8 to start with which isnt to bad we went off the to first drive got on the pegs and waited for the beaters to start moving , everything got going and a hen pheasant went over my neighbour he hit it so i thought i better finish it but this didnt go to plan as i hit it harder but didnt finish it off so i had two shots on that drive after i shot at that pheasant 2 foxes came running through which completely recked the drive. we then went off to the next drive i ended up on number 1 which was good as i was 20 yards from a tall hedge the drive stated and another hen followed the ditch at a good height i 2nd barreled it and that was the end of that drive for me. thrid drive under way another 2 foxes were reported in the drive i had 2 shots at a wirleyold cock bird and missed fourth drive we were in bung hole the beaters started and a jay came out my way i hit it then my neighbour hit it then i finished it off my first jay ever!!! . the pheasants started coming through i ended up with 4 pheasants and a jay for 8 shots a rather good improvement i had trouble with my next door neighbour he kept shooting at my birds afteri shot them so i decided to trim his birds up before they got to him as every dead bird of mine would get a 2nd barrel from him . LUNCH 5th drive DUCKs my favorite the ducks got up and completly filled the sky i killed 4 absolute stonkers with my other neighbour congratulatiing me only for the duck he congratulated me about nearly landing on his head i finally ended the last drive with 9 ducks for 14 shots . we all ended up with 161 so it was a brilliant day all round cheers for reading sorry for dragging on

they are pets for the moment i am going to use them mainly for eggs and chicks as the eggs go for a good price on ebay i only have one white partridge at the moment but i might inherit one at the end of the season if im lucky so they will be bred from and a few eggs will go on ebay i would like to realease a few on my local shoot but its illegal to realease them i think ?

i love there colours i am getting mikados and ameherst next year i have decided nig money in them

they are rather wierd but basically the same as a normal frenchy next year when i get my money i might start breeding some english partridge as the seem rather popular

hi went to a pheasant and wildfowl auction on sunday to get my orimental pheasants to breed from next year i ended up with 5 Reeves , 2 Silvers and 2 Goldens i will upload some pictures tomorrow i have also inherited 4 partridges 1 white , 1 chestnut , and two blue ones so i have added to my breeding program for next year i lost my land on which i reared my last lot on so i have now borrowed my dads allotment for a while if anyone knows of any land that would be possible to rent give me a shout as i will be needing some next year Happychappy246

the runs are very well used and when i go out with the air rifle at night i see the rabbits run back on them same runs.

hi i have just bought some rabbit snares and i was wondering if you needed a licence to use them and what do you tie the snares to to stop the rabbit from runing away with it ??

they wernt very organised but i only live like 45mins away so it wasnt to bad. but i had to stay for my shoot off otherwise i would have gone

well done berretta i ended up winning colts sporttrap with 90 coming 5th in A in the sporttrap and coming 3rd in colts in the sporting after a shoot off with jordan gray

im shooting the sporting at 9 my maths is rather bad

just checked m score and it said i shot 90 !!! well pleased

cheers i havent shot since the classic at southdown lost interest in it as i have done to much but hopefuly i can do well tomorow as well

i shot the sporttrap i got 89/100 which has put me in the leed in colts:) dunno about A
