I watched the video and they keep using the word 'hunting'. It's about as close to hunting as shooting pigeons in Trafalgar Square, or buying a beef burger at McDonalds. Kdubya said it would cost about 5 Grand to go., and Soreshoulder said he would like to go when he has saved a 'bit' of money. It would cost a lot more than that. They quote 20,000,000 birds, so with cartridges at about £150 for 1,000, the ammunition alone would cost £3 million pounds! ... and that's much too rich for me. LOL Bill -
You could say you are looking after next year's crop :smiles:

Good for you! But I thought 22.50 was an obsolete calibre ? Unusual to say the least. But 1600 acres .. Fantastic!

Ask your Firearms Officer and get it right first time. That's what he's there for.

best thing is to contact your FEO direct and get it right first time

Well, Ollie,S My best shot was with a sub 12 ft/lb .22 air rifle. Straight down a McDonalds drinking straw at 2000 yards. No wind blowing, of course.

I thought .222 and .223 are both .22 calibre the difference being the casing size. Gonna check Billy-know-nuffink
