  2. Unsure mate, will have a look when i get it back, mind you, when i get it back it should be fixed if there was a problem.
  3. Just a post to vent my frustration. Geese been on one of my permissions for about 10 days, about hundred of the damn things. Been around all my permissions tonight, being the start of the season and all and can't find 1 of damn things. My new found interest in ruins after the first day . Where should i be looking for them.......................... Besides the obvious (water) before anyone suggests it lol. Don't have any water on any of my permissions.
  4. Lol, always goes like that, just when you least expect it. Bloody frustrating!!!
  5. Really should learn the inches equivelant in milimeters lol. Can't believe the shop sold me an over priced escort and the wrong carts in one hit Looks like i'm gona be paying "eastsussexlad" a tenna when i get it back and try it with longer cart
  6. I had mine new in april. Just had a look through the manual and it does'nt anywhere that you must use long carts, what it does say is that "Your escort semi auto shotgun is chambered for 3", and is capable of firing 3" and 2 3/4" shot shells". Took it back to the shop today and they said it's not right, sending back to edgar bros for testing/repair. Craig
  7. I was wrong previously when i said it was 3 1/2" chamber, it's a 3"
  8. Sounds like a bet!!! Any jambs within 50 carts and the tenna is mine, no jambs and the tenna is yours, straight into your paypal account. And you'll know if it jambs cus mine will be for sale on here. Will let you know how i get on
  9. Hiya mate, all the info you need on here.
  10. If you don't mind me asking how much did you pay for it??? I want an off roader for shooting only but don't wanna pay land rover/ range rover prices.
  11. Well i'm cold too, have no fire and the mrs just said "go and put a bloody jumper on, you ain't putting the heating on yet" lol
  12. Thanks lads for the input. I'll be down the gun shop tuesday for a trial pack of 70 mils. Will let you know the outcome. Thanks again Craig
  13. Up until the past 2 - 4 weeks i have had nothing but praise for mine too, had mine new in april, could live with the fewer jambs before but it has just got worse and worse and worse at cycling to the point now where it is totally unacceptable. To the point where i feeling irritated even thinking about it whilst i'm writing this message
  14. I'm unsure but 3 1/2 ring a bell. It does make sense as i have some a box of 36g BB carts for if i ever see any foxes and they fire them fine.
  15. Top man Will give it a whirl. Thanks Craig
  16. Sorry. They are 65mm. What carts would you recomend??
  17. I'm seriously at that point mate, spoke to the mrs last night and told her about it (to get her permission for a new gun). I am gona get a beretta or browning over and under soon. I still gotta sort this problem out though as the escort will just be an un-used gun in the cabinet and i've already got one of them, don't want anymore.
  18. I was the same until i went out with a friend and he showed me the ropes. My bags were only about 16 - 20 though. I now use a magnet and floaters (the ones you put real birds on). You need to see a pic but i don't know how to do one and add it to the message I put the magnet at the front, with the "v" coming off it facing into the wind using about 20 decoys (cus thats all i got). One floater to one side directly behind the last decoys (opposite side to where the birds are flying in from) then another about 50 yards out to the opposite side (where the birds are approaching from). With the hide located to the front or side of the pattern. Now the theory is that a bird will approach, see the furthest floater, get close and see the other floater, see the decoys and magnet, fly through the middle of the pattern and.......................... BANG!!!!!!!! Hope you can figure that jargan out, i'll have a mess round to see if i can post a drawing. I'm still pretty new to the sport so others may advise you otherwise but this works very well for me. The only thing that resricts my bag size now is my appaulling shooting
  19. Hi everyone, just wondering if you know what the problem is and how it can be solved...................... My Escort keep jamming up the carts, i know its a common fault with them but it's taking the absolute p**s. Fired around 140 carts today and i not fibing when i say i must of had 50 - 60 jams. It got to the point where i was gona throw the damn thing across the field. It's clean so carbon build up is not the problem and use 32g 6 carts so it's not as if they are to light. I'm emailing edgar bro's tonight and taking it back to the shop tuesday. It's got to be sorted as it is spoiling my shooting. Any input appreciated. Craig
  20. Great pic of the dog mate, he looks proud as can be What cart did you use for the fox and what range was it?? I've got an escort, p*****g me right off at the minute, never jammed so much, feel like smacking it around the thickest strongest tree i can find. Thinking it's time for change.
  21. +1, you'll feel it's neck snap and it's all over for the bird, quick and easy. Would'nt fancy clouting it with a stick the be honest,
