I work for a large car dealer, they throw away allsorts, (ie)car floor mats, brand new steel wheels and wheel trims, left over oil ,which I find myself collecting, If any one is near and owns a vw,who may need something give us a bell and i will have a look as I must get rid of some of my stuff. phone no is 07811133350
  3. ? IS ANYONE A MEMBER OF THE PIGEON SHOOTING CLUBS? ie the ones you see in the back of the shooting mags. if so has anyone got any comments, as I work all week this would only leave weekends which i suspect would be busy. If the guys who run the clubs could give a bit more info out it would make me less wary. waitin to here from you all.
  4. thinking of buying a new gun, for clay shooting, any ideas, around 600 pounds to spend ? tell me of any horror stories . or any great deals
  5. Well guys a mixture of replys ? thanks to you all, maybe I can find a pigion magnet on ebay! instead of a bit of corn. But what is the difference between a little bait and decoys, except if i left the decoys out they would surely dissapear
  6. I agree ,take time to study the birds, maybe the day before the shhot. If possible I try and creep up on the birds,(its very difficult) try and feed them the day before,(bread corn,) study how they feed and decoy the same(l shape v shape ) most of all stick at it? keep on shootin!
  7. has any tried this before,? yesterday, after four days of laying down approx 4pound of pigieon feed(mainly corn) I set out to see what I could bag. After a few hours I had 10 woodys which I discoverd later had been feeding on this every day.they seemed to be very slow in landing and changing direction. has any one else tried this. I have with fish but its a bit different. all most as if I am cheeting!  lets here your veiws guys!
  8. over and under for me seems better to hold and sounds more natural, leave side by sides to the bank robbers, only a joke, over and under, clay shoot, and in the field, side by side, rough shoot ,game , auto ,well for all ,but not allways welcomeat some clubs, do you all agree?
  9. some birds wear bullit proof vests you know, nealy all around me.

  11. hi all, spent ages reading all the stuff everyone has written my main topic is ,does any one know of any land available to shoot on? I live in sheffeld, and shoot on about 50 acres. As I know this like the back of my hand i fell its gets a little boring after a time. I dont mind a bit of travel and would like to pick up tips and stuff from other shooters. or maybe just a booze up depending on the weather
