India is a country of 1.2 billion people and there can indeed be glitches. However, what you are ignoring is the awesome rate of progress as in the rising GDP and value for money you get. My phone 3 was charging me GBP 1.50 for a minute and a local chip I put in allowed me to make 1/2 hr call for the same amount. India is producing 2 million graduates each year and indeed, a third of the NHS doctors come from the subcontinent! India would be an economic superpower (top 3 after US and China) by 2020, just like it was one of the richest country before the plundering by the Mughals and then by the colonial rule!

I was with BASC via Leicestershire Wildfowler's but just last week took membership of Countryside Alliance as they offered special deal and did not get any invites from the club for wildfowling! No, I can not spot the different birds but then never wanted to go off shooting geese on my own... Guess would give it a go with my Beretta and if I like it, would go for a Urika 2 or some spanish 10g. Cheers! Ash

Many thanks. The issue is not really driving that extra 25 miles, albeit, waking up 45 min earler to get in time for the shoot! I have a 4x4 so gettting to the farm is no problem. Its just I hate waking up early on a Sat or Sun However, if the shoot starts late morning, then it is no problem! What time would you normally start the set up?

I am interested if the shoot is around Doncaster area as its not going to be too much of a trek for me to get there from Leicestershire. I have done a few driven days shooting but never pigeon shooting so would be interested in yours if on a sat or sun. b/w Ash
