set up at 7.30 first birds started to come at 8.10 didnt bother shooting let get comfident my mate turned up at 8.30 started shooting thanks to regular supply of birds due to pheasant shoot on going we ende up with one rook 161 pigeons went ferreting sunday morning passed field still plenty left for others :good:

last week it was beet now to try yhe drill lot of pigeons there today should still be there saturday

top bag mate cant beat a big bag but still happy getting fresssssssssh air and only shooting 10 /30 birds

sugar beet lifted on thursday went had alook saturday morning at 7.30am field was blue with pigeons sat in jeep and watched for half hour had to set up with wind behind me ready to shoot at 9.00 my mate turned up at ten bagged 27 by then we shot till 12.15 then moved hide to where there was a opening behind ended up 195 shot over half coming from behind the beet was lifted on thursdayfield ploughed on sunday

sit and watch this might take a couple of hours see if there are an odd pigeon about is about if so set afew decoys out just before dark go back in morn and have another look only takes a few to get interested then they will come

yes we have shot loads of young birds hope thers still plenty next year lol

went out a 7.30 am found flock on grass at eleven loads pigeons moving around kept changing pattern struggle to get them to decoy 43 pigeons 1 rook 1 magpie

wheat stubble got on flyt line i think that helped my mate dead shot shoots around 3 to 4 days that helps with good bags

stubble might go back at weekend it plasted again today

drove through this road saw loads pigeons and rooks went and found the farmer after achat got ok to go sat and watch field for about hour set up in hedge line decoys out magnet and floaters then dead shot turned up got in to hide with in 5 mins birds started to come ended up with 234 pigeons 61 rooks

had same sort of weekend 35 shots for 7 pigeons must have been weather ended up standing in ditch with camo net 3 dead birds and 4 plastic on wobblers

does any body no how to tell what sex your decoys are

another good day shooting over cut rape 1 rook 178 pigeons out with Tony [dead shot ] smith had to leave him on his own got back for couple hours bringing total myself 1 rook 64 pigeons tony getting 113 pigeons
