Cheers guys, had air rifles in the past but wanted a shotgun for years but moved around a bit... I dont mind folks negotive opinions, it's my choice of gun for the reason it will fire 2 1/2 catridges for most shooting but will fire 3.5" steel magnums for wildfolwing and since the solway firth marsh is only 2miles away it will do me fine :-). Going round the local Market tomorrow for deccoys an camo netting etc... So will be set soon enough :-) if anyone lives in the north west cumbria an fancy a shoot please PM me :-) got a lot to learn :-)

Took it out again today an it seems to not be gripping the spent catridge an leaving it half way in the chamber while it loads the next causing a stoppage, i'll try it tomorrow after a clean kim an aggy would be proud of an see if it helps.

Took my baikal mp153 out this morning an it wouldn't recycle anything, it kept leaving the spent cartridges in the chamber an trying to load the next out of the magazine causing a stoppage.... I was firing 32g 6.5 eley HP, yesterday I was firing the same load only different cartridges.... Any idea??

My baikal mp153 with my gear so far..... Already saving for my next gun :-)

Last night I was up at lowmoor ranges near Whitehaven Cumbria... I tagged along with a mate who was buying a 3.5" escort, I took on board everyones pros an cons about the escorts so when I seen a Baikal Semi Auto which I believe is a Baikal MP-153 3.5" Magnum Semi Auto I'm getting it for £395. What's everyones veiws on this shotgun?

I have a webbly 5 shot revolver an a glock 17 blank firer. As far as I know when they changed the law on sale of air gun etc... Over the met they changed the law on buying them "as real" an only as orange/blue etc... But as far as owning a pre orange/blue models are still ok.

Used them around 6 months ago, from order too deliverywas 4 days.

My budget is limited. Around £500 max. After a semi or o/u, any sugestions??

Had my home visit this morning, all went well an he has approved my certificate :-) a week or two an should land on my door mat, then it's shopping time :-).

No disrespect to anyone on here, but I am going to buy a escort semi double magnum for 3 reasons. 1. I want a gun for rough shooting an wildfowling, so I don't want to have to bubble-rap my shotgun everytime I bring it out. 2. It fires 3.5" steel shot. 3. Cheap as chips :-) :-) cheers
