I bought a mossburg 500 last week and only been out with it once, and fired around 16 carts thought it only to have the trigger house to break. Link to my thread: http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/150170-help-required/ Now I know it's old, but do I have rights for refund or repair from the shop I bought it from as normally you get 2-3 months warranty. My main argument is that the gun isn't fit for purpose as it shouldn't break this easy and be the responsibility of the shop to repair the gun or mine???

I bought a mossburg 500 the other day an when I stripped it for cleaning after an afternoon hunt. The trigger mechanism broke... The back half of the mechanisum which houses the hammer spring broke off :-(.... Pics bellow. Any adivce for repairs or replacement parts?... Could I just glue it back together?? Cheers Wrighty

I've got a Jack pike jacket an trousers from my local Market (not knock offs) got them for £50 for the pair. I think there ok. Jacket is great in cold weather with a removable lining.

I pay £65 a year for silloth wildfowling, we get all the fields around the solway marsh for about 3 miles around... Plus also allows hunting for pigeon etc... All year round. Also there's the south solway wildfowlers for £150 for the season buy you get all of silloth/border/abby and rockclif marsh's.... And best is it's less than 5min drive an no more than 25mins to the furthest shooting ground.

Air arms S410 classic, ASG 3-9x50 mil dot scope, bi-pod and air arms silencer .177 cal. Winchester SX3 30"barrel 3.5"chamber 12g. Nikki 5000 trap o/u, 30" barrel, fixed choke top=full, bottom=3/4, 2 3/4 chamber 12g.

Bellow is a picture of a full box of 25 32g No.6 Kent velocity and my Jack pike camo belt... Now bellow is a full belt of 25 of the above cartridges and one of my 3.5" magnum carts as the 26th shell to make it easy to count the carts.

On my o/u I have a little dulling on my actions metal work... Any recomendations??? I was going to just fire metal polish an drenmell drill with soft polishing brush.

Why do ammo belts for 12g shells hold 26 when you only get 25 in a box.... :-s Just like hotdogs come in tins of ten an buns in pack of 8, lol....

I use Kent velocity In mine with no problem, assuming u are using 2 3/4" carts.... Check all parts concerning the gas recoil system. O ring, spring, piston, piston rod, gas inlet holes etc....

Cheers guys, found out a mate dad has one an willing to lend me it for a day so I'll be having a play before hand. But from what I've heard i will be picking one up next week :-).

U can fire steel through any gun aslong as it is fired using a plastic wad as there is no steel on barrel contact, however if it's a fixed choke gun I wouldn't fire steel through anything tighter that 1/2 choke

Popped into my local RFD an had a wee bit of window shopping. Spotted a Winchester SX3 in 3.5" magnum synthetic. Can folk who have own or used the shotgun give me pros an cons... As pay day is next friday, lol... And it's ******* tempting.... Cheers steven

Time for a full English breakie with all the trimmings apart from tomatoes an mushrooms as there mingng, lol....... Then I'm off shopping :-):-):-)... PCP air rifle or .410 hushpower. Decisicions decisions, lol.

Howdo I'm looking for a pcp air rifle for target/hunting... Looking for a gun with good reliability, good feel and multiple shot... Ive narrowed it down to 3 guns an your input will be great as there is slight price differences which tue change will be used for scopes etc.... Guns are: Air arms S410 BSA Ultra BSA Scorpion T-10
