  8. had my first short session of the summer with 3 hours on standing wheat on thursday evening.just put my magnet in the wheelings birds came well from 5.15 till 8.00pm.shot 33 and picked 28 i was only shooting at woodies that i could pick so i was pretty selective.there seems to be loads of bird in my neck of the woods and all seeming to be on standing wheat.watched an area nearby yesterday thats got several hundred over it which i,m going to shoot today problem is going to be getting in the right place cos theres flightlines coming and going in all directions. how are you guys getting on puffing the woodies?
  9. just finished work and had a good look round my farms this afternoon, about 100 woodies on peas and all three other farms i shoot over all had several birds dropping in the wheelings, one farm had a good 500 birds in the wheat but also a really good fliightline going into it, ive shoot this field before and know it can produce, the down side is i cant get on it till next saturday and its just fingers crossed that no-one else gets to it first! so down in sussex its looking all systems go!!!!
