My mother has a 9 month old Flat coated retriever and he's done all the obedience and the like and he's bored of it as it's all to easy for him! Mum doesn't shoot, but would love to take him to find some gun dog classes for him to go to, as he's so keen to learn and loves it all, but just needs some more taxing stuff to keep his mind going! Does anyone know of anything in the Berks/Oxon area she might be able to take him to! agility classes might be an option as well; he did some at Highclere Game Fair and thought it was huge fun!

hmmm pity, wouldn't mind seeing this! gotta love fictional 'documentaries'. clever marketing ploy with the film as well, with the whole fake website, suckered a few genuine animal rights movements as well apparently!

Funny how the mother is allowed to be protective of her littl'un after the event. If she'd been as protective as the dog had been of the puppy leading up to the attack, things would have been different. I have a black lab (and a flat coat) and she is the typical goofie softie, but she's a rexcue from ireland and so we have no idea what happened to her before she came here, and neither would any stranger, so we have to be careful. Read. Some of the comments on the article too. Some people calling for all dogs to be banned. Gotta love blinkered over reactions. I vote we ban children.

Welcome to the world of PW! It might also be worth checking out the vids on youtube by huntersVermin. all the vids arewell put together and have plenty of hints and tips that might be useful! have a flick through them all. a lot of them are good for shooting around buildings, which might be of use with your permission! let us know how you get on! pop a photo up on the photos section for us all to have a look at when you get your pcp! this might be just me being daft, but the assumption is that you don't have an FAC. most of this thread is entirely irrelevant if you do have one! do you have one? If so, it might be good to update the post, so people need not be wary of telling you how to break the law! if you haven't got one, as above, get your BSA checked post haste!
