Yeah get yourself a few traps, poison will kill them but they have a habbit of kicking the bucket under floor boards or inside walls where you cant get to them, and thats when the awfull pong will start

Come up north, we all look like we have good sun Tans here but really its a light coating of rust. No shortage or the wet stuff up here maybe we should start selling it.

Am giving up missing the flying rats but i think it would be easier to give up chocolate and crisp. May give that a go as well.

As already mentioned get them transfered to your brother if he has room in his gun cabinet for them.

Is there any where in the north west that sells banger ropes? or can anyone surgest a good online shop that sells them? Also is it worth paying the extra for the Magnum bangers? Or do the normal ones do just the job? Cheers

Bit the bullet today and bought some of the Terminator ones from DJDecoys met the guy at the post office as he doesnt live far from me and he was posting some orders. Only thing is they dont look exactly the same as the ones i have seen online, have they changed the pattern on them? Havent had chance to give them a go in the garden yet its been ******* down since i got home.

How do these compare to the Jack pike ones? Has any one had both? which did you prefer?

4 today on rape, bit better than yesterday, they are still traveling around in big flocks though, not getting many shots. total 1074

Hi it is pest control mainly pigeon, the other thing i forgot to add is that some of the land i shoot on is only rented from other farmers, but he has Oked it with them. Does this change anything?

Out today on the rape with the FUDs all of a sudden a female sparrow hawk comes over the brow of the field am in at no more than a foot off the ground, she flew like that for about 50 meters or so and then landed on one of my FUDS, she tried to fly off with it but couldnt pull it out the ground. I got out of the hide and started to clap my hands to scare her off, she let go and then had a go at the only full bodied decoy i had out there as well before realising it wasnt real and flew off. :yp: Has any one else had this happen to them? Just goes to show that the FUDS do work even if its only on sparow hawks

2 today on rape one had a full crop of the stuff other was empty, lots flying about now. total 957

As a few have already said you will have to just keep setting the traps untill they stop going off, saw one rat run under the shed last year. Finished up getting 3 adults and half a dozen young ones and a couple of field mice.

Is it ok for someone to shoot with me on my permissions and borrow a gun, if they dont have section 2 licence them selves? He would be in the same hide as me and i will be transporting the guns to and from the fields. The farmer is ok with me bringing people on with me just wanted to check if its legal or not.
