as above a cheap 12bore o/u shotgun me and my dad are in the process of filling in our sgc's in so it would be in a while i would use the gun mainly for clays. trying to find a gun for under £150 if possible looking for a gun in cumbria as local to carlisle as posible thanx lewj

If you hit something at a sensible range in the right spot its dead no matter .177 or .22 personsly after hunting with both calibers i would go for .177 that's all great until you have a crosswind if using light pellets .. .22 is slightly more air effiant as it takes more air to shift a .177 pellet so you get about an extra 10 accurate shots per Fill

Find all of these witch cartridge very helpful as i don't have any clue or being been hunting with shotguns ..by the time i get my sgc and gun I'll be an expert lol:D

hello guys and gurls new to this forum im just about to turn 16 im a member at a local gun club in carlisle cumbria i normaly shoot air rifles and firearms ..on easter sunday there was fun shoot on at my club i went to shoot my airguns and others fullbores on the outdoor range when i decided to try clays and i loved it hardly hit any at first but then started to enjoy it..so here i am in the process of applying for a certiificate and will soon be looking fo a cheap 12 bore 0/u but need to sort out certifficate first.... lewj
