Fife Country list one (catalogue/website).
I have a pure wool one with a Goretex liner which came from Cabelas. Ideal for going afloat. Not available last time I looked but worth trying. You can in fact buy the material and make a liner - my wife did one for a friend. Musto do/did a windproof lined fleece.

I had a nice Musto and washed and tumble dried it - big mistake - now only suitable for one of Snow Whites little pals!

Am looking for a warm, wind proof and lightweight jumper.
Any recommendations. TIA

Saw the letter, folk spending that much have more money than sense and its big expensive days that will be the ruin of the sport if its not done so already.

Gamebore do lots of steel loads for the continent we cant get here due to our outdated CIP regs.

We have the lowest state pensions in Europe and those who have worked and paid in all their lives deserve a decent pension.
Look after our own first but we don't - instead we waste billions on pointless overseas aid and god knows how much on alleged refugees and asylum seekers.

And there are no proof laws in USA, so their gun barrels are made stupid thick and heavy so the Yanks can stuff anything they can buy through them.
Not true they follow SAAMI regulations. Gamebore produce very good steel loads we cant get here because we fiollow CIP regs and Denmark for example use SAAMI which are more flexible.

My maxus was the same, wouldnt cycle cases under 70mm never mind the load.
Worked fine with litespeed 26g in 70mm case

Youve got no chance Gordon 'BASC doesnt work like that'
I shall eagerly await the news on the court case, and see what rabbit hole that leads us down.
Why do you insist on futile post and wasting folks valuable time? Its quite clear you have an anto BASC gripe which they are responding to when they have more valuable things to do with their time.

All down to market forces I guess, if theres a demand a product will be found but over all 28s and 410s are such a small portion of guns owned/used it may not be worth while.

Used a Spartan bipod and some Blaser quad sticks yesterday and would thoroughly recommend them.

Some advice please, am looking for a left handed 243 with a 3 position safety catch but struggling to find much info on what is available for sensible money.
Anyone have any idea what i can get and where from, prefer to buy a new rifle. TIA>

steel does ruin barrels in shotguns norway was the first country to ban lead shot years before any country they have overturned the lead ban as they found out it did damage guns so who would you believe
The Norwegian reversal was on animal welfare grounds

Again Conor, you seem to want to call it misinformed, yet dont feel the need to put me right, using actual facts.
Tell me the bits Ive got wrong. It is a real issue, but why didnt BASC help these people before the problem manifested itself, youve known it was coming for 4 YEARS !
Weve been down the transparency route before, where after 3 months of asking , you still cant tell the forum , or your members how much youve put in the fighting fund.
Does this not call into question a matter of honesty ?
You do a disservice to your members by not consulting them on a direction (lead) that not only affects them , but all shooters.
You do a disservice to your members by pulling the legal cover at short notice, with no adjustment of membership cost.
And you did a disservice to your members by advising them not to pay the doctors fee, leaving many high and dry without a licence.
For these 'disservices' BASC has never apologised.you are great at bashing the BASC but have little positive to say about anything, the last thing shooting sports need at the moment are numpties picking fault for the sake of it.

Am looking for a small key safe and was wondering what folk recommended? TIA

1 Restriction of lead ammunition
(1) Any person who possesses, uses or places on the market lead ammunition for the purpose of shooting animals is guilty of an offence.
(2) 5 Any person who possesses, uses or places on the market lead ammunition for the purpose of target shooting is guilty of an offence. It includes simple ownership also.
You can follow the progress of the bill if you wish:
https://bills.parliament.uk/bills/3096You could be liable for a level 4 fine (up to £2,500).
You can thank Lord Browne of Ladyton for raising the proposal/bill.
Is he a bit of socialist dross?

Why don't folk move with the times and accept change is coming and get on with it?
They have used steel shot on the continent for years for clays and game without too many issues.
If we want the sport to survive then maybe we have to move on and evolve?
The three Wigeon and a Pintail I got on the shore on Friday were shot at a sporting range with steel 4s through my 690-3 and stone dead.
