  1. grouse is not one of the safest in my opinion. 30 min you could get to worsley.
  2. theirs probably a few people on here who have had sucess at high levels including cat (one of the better southerners) and myself but whats the rant for. start at the bottom and work your way up. if thats what you want. :good:
  3. totally agree with cat. big fish liitle pond syndrome. if you want to improve your shooting and get to county or even international level you must do the rounds of the grounds. will cost you a small fortune to get their but well worth it in the end.
  4. i think you will find a beretta is not quite as simple as the baikel. beware of tiny springs and linkages for start.
  5. you dont get much rust on berettas. ive had one for 23 years now, its a 687. things needed in this time. 1 new ejector. 3 ejector springs. 1 firing pin. 2 enertia springs. new barrells. old ones were swollen at the barrels so much the chokes would not seat, just rattle. over 250.000 cartridges through to date and still going strong. hows that.
  6. i agree average score for you Cat. seen you do a lot better on internationals. :D
  7. not allowed dogs where i am at the moment otherwise would love one B)
  8. like a good tip myself but that was average. specially with ap on board.
  9. keep practiceing. easy when you get used to it :o
  10. hey cranfield, ill be looking at one myself shortly what would you recomend.
  11. that takes time and experience more you practice the easier it becomes to read the speed. you will tell if one is slower or faster than normal so alter the leed accordingly. youll see.
  12. your correct their. everyone sees leed differently. my 6ft might be 10ft to someone and 3ft to another.
  13. if the clay is at 40 yards doing 40mph and your using an average cartridge, wnen you pull the trigger it will take roughly a tength of a second to reach the clay, which inturn is about 7-8 ft actual leed infront of the clay. 7/8 of an oz of high velocity with no shot string more than 1 pellet and you get shot string.
  14. new on here guys so be gentle. not shot a clay for more than 2 years now so rusty isnt the word. might do the english this year as ive had good results before
