  2. I am very pleased with the shooting school which I frequent. The owner took me for a 1 hour lesson today, my 4th. He said, before I have more lessons it would benefit me to go around his numerous traps having a friend operate them for me while I shoot, I agree. 1 hours usage is £35.00 + clays at 10p each plus cartridges at £5.00 box but you can take your own cartridges. Will give it a whirl next week. BTW, how much is a box of clays?????
  3. Have you noticed that Musto stockists only keep a minimum of stock and always seem to 'want to order' for you.. How come I have seen royal appointment tags in Musto clothing which is 'Made In China', WHAT A LAFF.
  4. She is normally right handed but has been checked to shoot left handed and got a smack in the kisser from a raised cone.
  5. She is 67 this year. I doubt if she will continue.
  6. Have you noticed that sometimes they see you at the last minute and virtually try to backflap to avoid being shot.
  7. I will be with 7 family members. I will not be buying a gun but will get something, spose. Last week my optician got me some yellow clip on lens for me specs, I am very pleased.
  8. The best free ones for me were old cotton SPROUT nets for around me face. The nylon ones were not so good.
  9. clay pigeon shooting with a Beretta Silver Pigeon 20 bore, she loved it at the age of 67. This is gonna cost me a bomb.
  10. I bought stuff I did not really need, the clothes bargains were brilliant.
  11. So, William Powell do not manufacture English shotguns but continental ones. Are these continental ones reliable and of no lesser quality that the famous English ones?
  12. I have not had any time for pigeon shooting for a while, had other things to do. They have been on the rape but today they had ******** orf, mind you, I only had an hour to spare. I stood in a ditch by a tree which hid me a bit, after about 10/15 mins I spied a pair of crows heading straight for me. I watched and watched, up I went and killed the first one, ****** me if the second one didn't come closer, I got him as well. Thinking back, the last time I had a right and left at crows was way back in the early 80s. having said that I was using an O/U today. Quite pleased.
  13. Get the extendable aluminium ones which screw into hard clay, fishing tackle shops sell them.
  14. Went to the William Powell sale of sporting goods, equipment and clothing today at Banbury, it ends tomorrow. Very good really but a little bit disappointing as some stuff they normally sell was not in the sale. Some very good bargainz in clothing though. Manufacturers of fine-quality guns, specialists in shooting equipment, fishing tackle and country clothing - William Powell Have a butchuz. www.williampowell.com type it into your browser.
  15. Useless as a chocolate fireguard as far as England are concerned. Hope Arry takes it.
  16. Which country are they manufactured in NOWADAYS?
  17. is at their Banbury store/warehouse next door this Friday and Saturday starting at 9.00am. I have been to their store today for a looksee and buy a coat. I spoke with 2 girls who worked there, one said she did not know which items were in the sale. The other girl said that most of the goods in the 'shop' would NOT be in the sale and deffo NO GUNS but fishing tackle. Judge for yourself what kind of sale it will be. Good luck.
  18. 'Sam' is a good name for any male animal, IMO.
  19. Them ******, hare today gone tomorrow.
  20. Do you mean the useless police or the ******? Stabbing the sides of someone tyres cost them plenty money but there are consequences if caught.
  21. I cannot find a comprehensive range on the internet or in their catalogue. I will be spending some time in the West Midlands so would be grateful to know of a store/shop who sells Musto. Ta guys/
  22. Been pigeon feeding on hammud rape today but it was too cold for me and I did not have much time to spare.
