  1. Will it or will it not work? http://www.military.com/video/guns/rifles/how-to-make-a-gun-free-zone/2733229823001/
  2. Local garage does it for free, when it gets serviced or mot Blasts it with old engine oil, gets every where.
  3. Trust me that one doesn't work any more. I use to tell her the same thing, then she asked why every gun is the same bloody price. Now I just lock them in cabinet and don't tell her what's old/new, they all look the same when zipped in to a gun bag
  4. Bought mine about 4 years ago 2.7 Lwb. No major issue, yet. Changed glow plugs, exhaust parts and anti roll bar track rod ends. Not bat for 4 years of abuse. Best 4x4 I had, except for the fuel consumption but who cares. Chucked a set of General Grabber AT on and have gone through some thick bogs and just loved the snow. Ideal and comfy shooting truck If funds allowed the only other 4x4 I would consider would be a 2.5 Ford Ranger crew cab, (at least that could be put on my commercial fleet insurance) ps. sprayed underneath with oil 2-3 times an year.
  5. Just bought one of these http://www.johnnorris.co.uk/search/11051-john-norris-orkney-soft-shell-jacket-7441.html Thicker than the Regatta ones and a dam site warmer.
  6. Have you thought of getting in touch with the guys on Fieldsport Tv. I would not be surprised if they snapped your hand off.
  7. Just curious. If its been hit by another shooter, why do the pictures show the edge of both holes protruding outwards? Might be wrong but looks as gun was shot whilst there was a barrel obstruction
  8. Just found this on photography forum, what next. http://www.amateurphotographer.co.uk/photo-news/539606/nikon-faces-backlash-over-hunting-rifle-optics
  9. Im already paying a fortune for training and retraining and re registering with so called governing bodies (robing ****), unfortunately that's part of my work. No intention of paying over the odds to participate in my chosen recreational sport. The only ones that would benefit from mandatory training would be the ones that deliver training. Even after training it does not mean that the individual is going to be practising whats been taught, why should they, they have a little piece of paper that says they are competent and can forget the rest. Oh, and it does happen too often. Training providers aren't in the business of failing people. If they did then candidates will move to another training provider. They are in the business to make money, loads of it. More often than not, its individuals that are involved with training establishments that are pushing for more & more & even more training. The best business to get into these days is training, loads of £££££ to be made, especially as some do good-ers want bloody training for everything. H&S gone mad. Im not convinced training shooters is going to, or not going to, reduce accident's. Cant think of any serious shooting accident's though When I started shooting I was wise enough to seek the advice and help of a experienced shooters , not some twit that's passed some course or other, doesn't mean that im better than the next bloke though, but I do use common sense. The worst so called shooter I recently had the displeasure of shooting with, was an ex military person, thankfully he has now sold his rifle Then again Ive shot alongside my eldest son, ex military, and in fairness his gun safety was second to none. Goes to show that training means sod all, its down to the individual. This argument can go on for ever but on the day each individual has a duty of care, whether they show it is another thing, such is life. Now sod more mandatory training and red tape and go out and shoot SAFELY
  10. The 20" puts you closer to the target by a massive 4"
  11. Mine did it just after i bought it, second hand, took it back to shop and had it back after 1/2 hour. Apparently it needed a good clean. Did it again after about 2500-3000 cartridges. This time it discharged a 6" magnum, OK 2 X 3" magnums, now there's a big bang and recoil Took off stock and gave mechanism a good clean with carb cleaner followed by a bit of oil, not had any problems since. Gun often gets thorough clean now.
  12. Just goes too show it down to the shooter and not how much ££££££ the gun cost. Well done to Stratts, bl00dy good show.
  13. Have you still got them for sale?
