  1. I work for a vehicle security company and can tell you its so easy to open any vehicle, standard OEM vehicle security is very basic and easy to get around. We've seen an increase in vehicles being broken into as of late and the methods the scum are going to is amazing especially on vans ill try upload a picture of a van i went to this week where they just cut the side panel out to remove the contents without opening the doors. Alarms, sound bombs and tracker/pagers are the way to go I'm afraid.
  2. Did some work here last week very very nice http://www.premiercottages.co.uk/cottages/dysynni-and-craigy-deryn.aspx#.U7RrrBYaNBU

  10. Well just rang ebay themselves spoke to a very nice american girl (i think) who told me to do nothing at all as i have photos and if they open a case i can provide these photos as evidence.
  11. The moneys already transferred to my bank account, I'm thinking ill open a case myself but not sure what to say.
  12. just got off the phone to my friend that runs an ebay business and he said they wouldn't have a leg to stand on ebay is technically sold as seen you take the risk on buying second hand items and if they are as described then do nothing and just forget about it.
  13. How can they side with the buyer, it was as described, and states on the listing "no returns accepted" And what to do if they return it and the numbers don't match.
  14. I know what your saying but I'm a bit proud of 100% sad i know, thats the other thing I'm worried about is if they open a dispute an try claiming the money back through paypal.
  15. Anyone else have a nightmare selling on ebay, had 3 incidents recently with ebay and items I've sold, the latest being an iPhone 5 that i sold 10 days ago, when it left me it was fully working, it has been in an otter box defender since the day i bought it but tonight i get this message. Ive put my thoughts in red Hi mate, Received the iPhone last Tuesday after collecting from the courier. Gave to my monther-in-law who set it up after getting a Nano sim card. Condition is really good but just a quick thing I noticed when on a white background like on the NOTES or MESSAGES, you can see a big patch on the screen, really big like its screen burnt. You can notice when you stare at it but when there's a photo or colours etc. you cant see it if you know what I mean (no it wasn't i have pictures of the phone with white start up screen). What can we do here as to be honest if I am paying like £250+ for a phone (you bidder on it) I want it to last and just getting this feeling over the next few months the screen may stop working and I would have rather paid an extra £100 to get a newer phone (why didn't you) as this is well over 12 months and no warranty on the Apple Selfcare website. What do you think is best?! I can return for a refund or accept some kind of partial refund?! Also the USB cable inside the box doesnt work either (yes it did i used it to sync and restore the phone) but the one you have supplied me is way too small and my AC plug is raised on the wall so the phone is basically hanging down while its connected to be charged (how is the position of their socket my problem). I can buy a new usb lead on eBay for afew pound which isnt a problem but... K@£$% Anyone have any thoughts what to do??? i feel their trying it on but don't want to ruin my 100% good feed back record. Thanks Will
  16. Got it new, you probably couldn't as you'd end up covering the hand brake.
  17. All our vehicles are remapped and declared to the insurance and no increases on any of them.
  18. Just got one a month ago, all i can say up to now is that its great, good drive, great on fuel, they do make a mpv version so i imagine you could put a bench seat in the back.
  19. If its a solid colour you want doing have you looked at plasti dip we had a 4x4 done also got a couple of rifles done at the same time thrown in gratis.
  20. You should take a look at the VAG engines you'll soon see there are 3/4 engines the same all with different power outputs, i doubt they make different engines for different power outputs its just not economical.
  21. Audi and Seat both offer them in the dealerships, i think what they do is have one engine different power outputs so they can charge more should you want a more powerful engine without going to the expense of making different engines.
  22. This is who i use, i think their FAQ's will answer most questions http://www.quantumtuning.co.uk/frequently-asked-questions.aspx
  23. My brother had his done and loved it I inform my insurance an they don't increase my premium i just tell them I've had an economy upgrade and they are happy with that, quantum do provide a conformity letter if you ask them, only had to provide this to one insurance company before.
