  2. Hi all, After the successful past years that we went to North Wales, near Criccieth, shooting woodcock-snipe, I'm organizing more shooting days. The dates are calculated on the full moon, to give us a better chance. dates as follow: 15 December 2016 16 December 2016 6-8 guns max. per day available 09 January 2017 10 January 2017 6-8 guns max. per day available Everything will be organized the same way like the last years that we have been, £125 per day, mid morning refreshment and pub lunch included. Its a a good day out and reasonably cheap day per gun, compared to other places that organize woodcock shooting, the day normally its planned as follow: meet at 9am, to be on shooting land by 9.30am, number of guns allowed its normally 6-8 per day, we take turns in walking, normally 2 walk with the dogs and the others stand in points that keeper says its the best. Refreshments half way thruw the morning and lunch included in the price. Bags: that is difficult to say, I always say, that I can't promise anything, if they there we all get a chance, normally there is plenty of snipe and pheasant The Challenge its the Snipe, its the most difficult bird to shoot, its unbelievable how fast it can fly and the way that it fly, the first time that I shot one...after many many attempts...I was well chuffed and keepers and beaters made it feel special. Please Pm me for any further info or bookings Mark
  3. Hi Darren and Nick, It was great to have you as usual, I hope to see you again next year. ATB Mark
  4. Hi Mark, It was great to have you back and your jolly good company, we all had a good couple of days, shooting wildbirds, when you shot your Snipe, I was over the moon and as usual, I was jumping up and down, like a child in a sweet shop. The shot count, over the 2 days, was 336 shots, with a total bag of 67 birds and 1 fox. Finally, after years of trying, I have managed to do the Welsh Macnab, extremely difficult challenge, with huge obstacles, well placed, by the estate manager...lol Welsh Macnab= While using a 20bore, you have to shoot, on the same day, 1 snipe, 1 woodcock, 1 duck, 1 pheasant and a fox. I'm still waiting for the first bottle of Tallisker, the second one should be here for Christmas....right. ATB Mark
  5. Hi Gary, It was a pleasure to have you and meet your dad. I'm really happy, that you both enjoyed it and compliments for the Snipe, bed time nw, just arrived after 3.5 hours of driving, after another day of good shooting. ATB Mark
  6. I was stopped recently,( 2nd time in 10years) 22.00 at Night, was driving down a double carriage way in Birmingham. On a straight stretch, with a big lay by, there was probably 5-6 Police cars, stopping people randomly...with my luck, I got pulled over....thinking in my mind, this its going to be interesting. 2 police officers, approached my car, very cautiously,, I winded down the window," Good evening Officer", as I said that, the officers, knew my full name and where I was from, the Gent was very polite, he informed me, that he ran my car number plate and he knew that I was a firearm holder, asked me where I've been and if I had any of my firearm with me. His colleague joined us, we a had a nice chat, very civil and polite, neither of them agreed on my passion, still it was a good conversation.
  7. Aside, the mick taking, I think thats a great photo of farming life
  8. Dear all, Thank you, for all the enquirers and the bookings. The guns have all been taken ATB Mark
  9. Dear All, A little update: December 2015 shooting dates: 14-12-2015 1 gun available 15-12-2015 2 guns available Or vice versa, the single gun joining us, he's flexible with the dates. Regards Mark

  11. Hi all, Its that time of the year, that I offer this type of hunting/shooting, in North Wales, near Criccieth, shooting woodcock-snipe, pheasants and a drive on mixed wild duck, near the estuary. A lot of returning guns, have booked for big parties, so I can only offer 2 days, back to back. 14 December 2015 3 guns available 15 December 2015 3 guns available I would rather sell as double days to single or group of guns, if its possible Everything will be organized the same way like the last years that we have been, £125 per day, mid morning refreshment and pub lunch included. Bags: that is difficult to say, in the past we done well, as you know these birds are not relesed, they migrate from russia norway and so on, this year on the second day was the best shooting we ever had, missed several that went up with the dogs and I think the guns where getting used to the way the birds were flying, if there is not many wild birds normally the game keeper decided to take us on his grounds where they keep pheasants/partridges. Personally I think that 1 woodcock its worth ten phesants because of the difficulty in shooting them. The Challenge its the Snipe, its the most difficult bird to shoot, its unbelivable how fast it can fly and the way that it fly, the first time that I shot one...after many many attempts...I was well chuffed and keepers and beaters made it feel special. We will do one snipe and duck drive, please take some steel cartridges or non toxic. Please Pm me for any further info or bookings Mark
