  1. Yes,the merseyside champs is still on the 27th July,we get to have a seperate shoot for lancs In October. Kev
  2. I'll be there, looking forward to it. Kev
  3. Nice one Andy. Good luck, hope you enjoy it. See you around. Kev
  4. I don't think anybody has mentioned shooting at poachers. Kev.
  5. Best thing is to ring and check just to be on the safe side. I don't know how they manage to make mistakes really, because for every gun transfered they should get informed twice, once by you,and also by the person who sold it to you,so there should be no reason they should not have a gun registered to anyone unless both are lost. Kev
  6. Hi Cos I to have some ACS custom moulded sonic valves and think they are great,as others have mentioned you go to Boots to get a mould of your ear taken(this takes about 20 minutes)and then they get sent to ACS who make them in your chosen colour, and they then get sent to you. If you want the number to call ACS it is 01295266665. I got mine through Ebay, they just send you the voucher that you take to Boots. Hope this helps. Kev
  7. Good decision, you know it makes sense. Happy hunting. Kev
  8. Hi Aister I have a T3 Lite synthetic/blue in .223 and cannot fault it;I would have no problem in recommending one. Everyone has there own opinions but i have no problems with the stock. Kev
  9. You are correct about the rule but there are a couple of grounds that do registered shoots(although not many)which are fibre only;North Wolds is one of these. I don't know why this is,bit strange really. Kev
  10. Just on clays, cartridges, fuel, practice and comp fees,£200 per week plus the odd silly weekends(game fair qualifiers etc)so probably looking at around 11K plus. Dear God it looks bad when you see it in writing, then again, it would look a lot worse if my wife sees it in writing. Kev
  11. Hi Scubajohn, You will not have any trouble at all,as long as it is in the past. When i was young and stupid i got done for just about every motoring offence(and others) they have ever invented(speeding through red traffic lights, crossing double white lines, driving without insurance, undue care and attention, forcing oncomming traffic to take evasive action, taking without consent, the list goes on and on and i was quite rightly banned within a year of passing my test. 18-20 years on i was a completely different person(no trouble since my silly time) and decided i wanted a SGC and FAC so thought i would give it a go. The Police know every single thing you have ever been in trouble for so just put it all down, they will be able to see if you have become a responsible adult and will base their decision on that. I think if i got one anyone can as long as you can be seen to have changed. All the best. Kev
  12. Glad you like it Mark,i've had one for a few years now and it still amazes me how fantastic it is every time i use it. They are just so clear even on high magnification you just can't explain it to people to do it the justice it deserves. I am sure you will have years of use out of this and make everyone who tries it with you very jealous. Happy hunting Kev
  13. I have a Mossberg 3 shot, and when i got it i was surprised at the noise aswell after hearing somebody shoot a single barrel hushpower which do sound like an air rifle. It doesn't matter which cartridges i use it's still not that quiet, just got to put up with it. Kev
  14. Andy Enjoy the pies. I am off to try the new targets at Blackpool. Kev
  15. I wish i had seen something like this sooner,i don't think i will be able to miss a clay again now as long as i take a speed camara with me to check the speed, and practice pointing at the paper for a while. Can't wait till weekend now.
