  1. Could be wrong but I think this came about when Police Officers who wished to wear the flag on their uniform were told they couldn't as the colours didn't fit in with regulation black / white colour scheme so possibly belonging to a Police Officer. Either that or an NUFC fan...
  2. Which then begs the question where does the Scottish Parliament's funding come from? The accepted answer is that 85% of Scottish Parliament funding comes from Westminster. Should the people of Scotland be subject to a re-run of the independence question and be tempted to choose to vote in favour of the SNP's goal in hope of a loving embrace from the titans of the EU, such as the German Chancellor Dr Schauble, then I would urge them to look at examples of how the EU deal with economically failing states requiring support from their neighbours. Greece would be a good starting point.
  3. I partially agree but it's not all Sparkhill and Perry Barr beyond the city centre, I'm in a part 3 miles out of town which is really rather nice and where my back gate leads directly to this: For those who enjoyed the opening post try these links too, some great photographers in the city at the moment: http://www.veritymilliganphotography.com/projects#/birmingham/ http://www.rossjukesphoto.co.uk/hnaojc993zww4n7lh34fknptx4bezm http://www.thisisorb.com/brandbrum-winner-announcement/
  4. This is my gun, please PM or call for info.
  5. I have it now Mark, thanks for the offer though. Now all I need to find is a forend somewhere as it's developed a small crack after 3 days out with it this week
  6. As per title really I'm after a scan of the manual for a Franchi 712 or just a guide to adjusting the shims on the same gun. If anyone can help that would be great, thanks.
  7. One of the first to get a name for himself outside of the sport due to the continued growth of the UFC yes, but there have been many before him. A more likely candidate for listing as one of the UK MMA pioneers details linked below: http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Leigh-Remedios-3071
  8. A fine effort but the title of Jackson's finest must surely go to Meet the Feebles.
  9. Quality British made tweed jacket to suit 42"- 44" chest with room for layers Only worn twice no pulls or tears, as new condition £30 collected (central Birmingham) or £35 posted
  10. Hard to believe that there's no family connection who'd want those clippings and photos, history like that can never be replaced. Also hard to believe people would pass up on the money there is there, things like that Michelin guide all have value: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Guide-michelin-1959-/361389574983
  11. There's also the deeper tread blocks which move around to generate more heat and the sipes which open and close like octopus suckers to help on wet surfaces and more aggressive & open tread patterns to clear water and retain flexibility in cold temperatures. And yeah, they're pretty much done at 4mm for snow but are still fine for general cold / rainy conditions.
