NickB65 , your so right, doing something you enjoy is what its all about cheers fella that's the first time in more than twenty years ive managed that, mind you that's only the second time ive spent all day in a pigeon hide in twenty years the first time was two weeks ago but I only managed 56 shots for 14 atb plugster

motty is absolutely correct it was very poor shooting when you consider the conditions, just enough wind to turn the majority of birds in text book fashion to present themselves beautifully over the kill zone and I just couldn't, no matter how hard I tried I just failed to keep the gun swinging and consequently missed behind !! the annoying thing was I knew exactly what I was doing after the first few shots but just had a mental block and struggled with it all day. however on the plus side I forgot to add the two jackdaws I shot to the total so is it still 1 in 4?

hi all, I,m about to purchase the equipment needed to reload 20bore subsonics for shooting crows & pigeons with my fully moderated mossberg 500 pump , which is fast becoming my favourite gun in the cabinet. Now from what ive already read I need to be loading No 5 shot with fibre wads but what I would like to know is what powder to use etc. plus how many times can you reuse a case? Any recommendations of books to get on the subject would also be greatfully received. many thanks plugster
