I'm putting I a 1-1 variation 22rf for 223cf on page 2 of the form it asks,, details of ammunition to be added/deleted,, then at the side of that there is another box that just says ammunition to be deleted??? What do I put in both boxes??? Also were do I state that I want a sound moderator aswel?? Thanks,, phil

I sent off my FAC to see about having my ticked opened 14 weeks ago now.. Still not heard anything back, iv tried ringing, email etc, but nobody answers the phone and I haven't had an email back yet, I no they have received it as I sent it recorded. And have checked it had been received and signed for. Any ideas!!!

I'm in a pickle,, I'm putting in a variation to swap my 22rf for either a 223 or 22-250,, but really can't decide.. Iv done loads of reading up on both calibers,, and there doesn't seem to much difference. I will be useing them for longer range fox and rabbit that my hmr just can't get at!! As the foxes mainly have come to wary of the lamp and won't come in close enough to take a safe clean shot,, not only that I have just recently got a new permission,, a quite hilly farm with plenty of good back stops available, 55acres., what advice do u guys have. Brilliant thanks guys,, I no they are similar but the 22-250 has that little extra reach and more punch,, for saying sake what if my FEO declines the 22-250??? Would I have to re-apply for the 223??.

On my ticket I have 17hmr that I would never get rid of,, also 22lr that I have never entertained/bought.. Recently I have got new ground to shoot over that is conciderably bigger than the land I shoot my 17 over, so I want to change my 22 for either 223 or 22-250 as a dedicated foxing rifle.. What's the best way to go about it.. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have very recently got myself a new permission, on which the farmers previous shooter used a rifle!!! The farmer doesn't no what caliber tho,, iv tried contacting GMP and my FEO (joe) but can't get hold of any of them to try and find out about what caliber the land is passed for... Any ideas guys???

So if I wanted a 223 or 22-250 I could put the variation in for them and ask to change my 22lr??? Iv had my FAC 2 years and used it quite a fair bit about 2000 rounds,, but like u say I actually have been asked on a number of occasions to shoot on land else were but can't because I don't have open ticket.!

Hiya chaps not been on for a while,, busy busy,, at the min I have 17hmr and 22lr on my ticket,,which is fine for the 2 farms I shoot on,,,, but yesterday I deliverd a parcel to a farmer and got chatting,, before u no it HE ASKED ME would I like to shoot over his land👌🏻to which I great fully replied yeeeesssss please,, apparently the bloke who used to do only used to turn up around 2/3 times a year,,,, yes u heard me right 2/3 times a year,, his land is huge quite hilly with a large wood to 1 side,,,,, so I was wondering how long it is in the GMP area for a variation for an open ticket for my hmr and 223 and 22-250 to give me that extra reach,, as he tells me there is a large number off foxs paying a visit on a regular basis. And advice would be brilliant thanks.

I've got the same rifle mate and I love it like you wouldn't believe, I've also had plenty bunnies with it and a fair few Charlie boys,,, cracking rifle and well done on charlie

why not if I didn't feel I was capable of making the shot a clean kill I would definitely not of taken it but the conditions were right no wind ect and so I took it,, each to there own to be honest,, I'm no idiot I've taken plenty rabbits at between 190 and 210 yards,!!!
