  1. Wow! I think I'd need two sugar daddies... I just need cartridge pockets, hand warmer pockets and a smooth right shoulder. I keep going back to that Barbour. I really liked it but don't have the money. Must get a better paying job!
  2. Thanks for the link, but I'm not really a tweed kinda girl...I'll help destroy the evidence of sloe gin any day of the week though!
  3. Mine in Kent was 12 weeks from application. We were led to believe that this is quick.
  4. I'm just glad to be getting consistently above 50%, started shooting in March, got this gun in September, so I'm happy with how it's going. Got within 3 points of the husband today too...sneaky beaky!
  5. Oh dear, not good! Hope you're feeling better now? We're away down in Bath next weekend visiting the outlaws, so won't catch you then. I have to feed my friend's snakes over in Essex, so may pop to Essex gun. I was gutted, I got a smiley face on stand 1, which we shot last. So I suppose 36/60 isn't that bad
  6. I hate spending money, and clothes shopping (well, any shopping really) annoys the hell out of me. It was at countryway I tried on the Barbour. I really, really liked it, but I cannot justify that amount of money for a coat with someone's name on it. I didn't spend £400 on my wedding dress! ETA: Yes, Robinhood shot a 36 (RUBBISH!) Then went to Hawley and got a PB of 56. RH must have warmed me up Did you go?
  7. Thank you all I was getting pretty parky out there today, think I'll have to find a shop tomorrow and try some on. I hate clothes shopping though, so may procrastinate...
  8. Can anyone recommend a decent shooting jacket for winter? It's my first cold season shooting. Tried on a Barbour cotterdale 3 in 1 today...but I don't have £380 for a coat. Any ideas much appreciated, thanks in advance Hels
  9. Every day's a school day Anyway, I love reindeer meat, but wasn't keen on the deer steak I had. Everyone ok with that?
  10. Yup. I've eaten reindeer, and love it, and had venison (I think roe but not 100 percent) and didn't like it nearly as much as Rudolph. Shame really, I assumed it'd taste the same :(
  11. Confidence, you can do this easy Steve (Next time I see him at Robin Hood I'll nobble him )
  12. Reindeer is delicious, I prefer it to venison.
  13. Well done I got 2 on my first stand at our shoot yesterday but straighted a later one...very happy!
  14. Out clubbing probably. I used to do the same...I'd get in at 6am on a saturday morning and have a piano lesson at 9am... Poor girls :(
  15. One of my favourites...spectacular
  16. Is the person who made the offer selling their place through the same agent? Meaning 2x commission...I've seen this lots before.
  17. I welcome laughter and general mickey taking Thanks, will let you know
  18. Excellent, thanks for that Will suggest it to himself
  19. Well done. If he happens to fall in the canal don't forget to take pictures. You may have to remove your foot from his head in order to get a clear shot...
  20. If you're not having a laugh, what's the point? I beat one of our group once and I'm still dining out on that (he's beaten me again many times since) but we tend to always have a good time. I've heard about the detling shoot but haven't looked into it properly yet...may go and have a google...
  21. I got a 32, husband 53 and our friend a 47. I managed to avoid a smiley face but only by the skin of my teeth! I'll say hi next time, you looked like you were enjoying it!
  22. AH, bum, thought it was you, but got overcome by shyness and didn't say "Are you that bloke off Pigeonwatch?" Will grab you next time How did you find it? I had a pig of a day, but thoroughly enjoyed it
