Save money on expensive binoculars, just stand closer to what you are looking at.

I agree with this, a total waste of money paying for gym membership, just do some body weight excercises at home, you will tone up better as you are using muscles for stability that you wont use with gym equipment and do some Tabata for the cardio. Also, going to the gym you will probably only do the excercises you find easy and won't excercise all your muscle group.
