  1. Hi nothing as of yet. Other than raising the breach I don’t think I can do a great deal so just continuing to use the shroud which to be fair there isn’t anything wrong with it I’m just not a huge fan of how it looks
  2. Nothing wrong with it and after looking on the “air-fective” website I’m sure it’s one of the best you can get, I just really love the look of a rifle with a mod on the end. My own stupid fault for jumping in feet first although it’s not a bad thing having the bigger cylinder I suppose
  3. It’s an air-fective carbon fibre shroud that’s on it so I’m wondering if they have also supplied the air cylinder
  4. It’s measuring 330m The shroud measures 370mm
  5. Hi ok I’ll have a look at that. It was more the “length” issue in that the air cylinder will still protrude beyond the end of the mod Is this the type of thing you were mentioning with the xtx?….https://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shop/general-accessories/airgun-silencer-adaptors/screw-on-type/1-2-20-unf-male-to-female-silencer-barrel-extension-16mm-diameter-38mm-or-50mm-extension/
  6. I have bought a used BSA ultra se and unbeknown at the time it has an extended air cylinder (I’m new to airguns), it currently has a shroud which I want to remove and fit a suppressor/silencer but currently the air cylinder will be longer than a fitted suppressor. I was thinking can you extend the barrel?

  8. Ok cheers I’ll take a look
  9. Anyone experienced the vastfire torches off eBay. Looking for one for lamping, it’ll be my first time out at night. Was looking at the T50 which’ll be £40 for torch, batteries, charger, mount and remote switch. You can get other vastfire torches for £20 with all the same stuff. Was thinking Red 350lm
  10. Someone make me an offer…might even throw in a box of cartridges
  11. Hi duck shooting is something I have always wanted to try. What are the timings for the day and will you be doing anything later in the year? I would be coming from Nottingham so not sure if I would need to stop over the night before
  12. Looks to be now reserved. Hopefully found a good home
  13. Just seen this advertised on a website. No link to me but just want the right person to see it…https://spanielaid.co.uk/moby-sa2492/
  14. I would like to think my mount is the best it’s ever going to be. If I think about how long in total I have spent in the last 12 months dry mounting on different objects around the house...even the fire alarm at the top of the stairs before I walk up to put the gun away. It’s just become second nature now, don’t even need to think about what I should be doing...and as you say it’s cost absolutely nothing
  15. Hi all, I don’t get out anywhere near enough clay shooting whether we are in a lockdown or not but even so, the gun is out of the cabinet most nights and I just spend 5 to 10 mins dry mounting it. Mounting it on stationary targets is one thing but wouldn’t it be better mounting on to a moving target. When looking into the Dryfire simulator I notice they do something called “Swing” which is based on the original idea of dry fire - a device to practise hold, target acquisition, gun mount, swing and follow through.it doesn’t give you any feedback and it presents the targets in the same way. At £250 it’s not cheap but is it seriously worth looking into?
  16. Yes maybe I am thinking too much, probably why I miss so much...need to learn to switch brain off. Game shooting is still all new to me
  17. What do you mean by “measurement or performance”
  18. the lyalvale 25g in 6 or 7 shot sound to be the ones then...so next would be what choke for your average walked up birds. I currently have 1/4 top and and 1/2 bottom
  19. I will buy a box of each and try them. The gun is as light as a Deaves compared to my beretta so imagine it’ll kick like a mule although I was going to get a slab of 28g No 8’s for some rounds of Skeet just to get use to the swing of the gun
  20. Is that the lyalvale 25g in 7 shot?...guessing 25g is fine for game unless they wouldn’t do them
  21. The regal was going to be my first choice although was reading that they are a very “punchy” cartridge
  22. Bought myself a nice little 20 bore yildiz for my second season of rough shooting. No long range birds but what cartridge do I go for....28g No 6 or 25g No 6 plus also what choke combination baring in mind I cant imagine the choke sizing will be as accurate as my Beretta
