Any idea which gulandi was with that load? Lbc43 work with it?
-
Iv 5.5lb of the stuff, used in 10 bore years ago but not bothered much with it since I got rid of 10
-
Thanks for that bud, I'll give that a try👍
-
Yes that's perfect thanks if you have it, cheers 👍
-
Anyone got data for 12 bore lead data with this powder please?
-
Iv a lab at minute, easy enough dog to have around... But a total *****, with other dogs his size or bigger... Fine with smaller male dogs... I see other labs on marsh too equally keen to battle
-
Thanks for replies lads👍... Iv just got to do the waiting game now till something pops up
-
Few folk of told me to avoid Penrose dogs as there a bit full on (temperament wise) .... Yours will still be a pup I suppose, so to early to see yet...have you had out to do with other Penrose dogs? Couple of owners iv had contact with said there's have been spot on, no issues at all,

Smart looking dog that👌, just the type I'd like... Iv got a couple of leads now on potential litters, so it's waiting game name see if anything comes available for me .. cheers
-
Tried contacting all of the big kennel names, no reply from any of them... I did get a return email from Molly Barker who is the secretary of chessie club.. them arnac dogs are smart type 👌
-
Yes please old farrier, any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Xtreme, that is a great reply, thank you... Yes, iv researched the breed, many times over last 9-10 years ( there isn't that great a deal of info about them on internet I think).. i feel,I could do one justice. Iv time to train one properly before retiring my current dog, i can certainly give one enough work once it's mature and ready to go, and all my dogs are trained ( fitness wise) like athletes, best of food and plenty of exercise, summer time spent trotting alongside bike, or swimming ( live on an island,so surrounded by tidal waters). I like the look of the Penrose dogs, have sent email already to her, but as of yet no reply. I'm in contact with couple of lads who I think could be of help,👍. Did yours turn out good workers? Thanks I don't do Facebook Big Mat, so unfortunately can't see what's on there
-
Thanks mud pattern, iv looked all over UK chessie sites,I'll get in touch with them see if any future litters planned.
-
I'm looking at getting a pup in shortly to train up in replacement of my current dog. I want to go down the Chesapeake path. Do any of you lads know of any upcoming litters from working parents? Thanks

Think powershot is equivalent to hw13 in density
-
Iv had a look on YouTube about them, and there isn't a great deal of footage, there's a couple of European videos ( I think) with a tidy dog working, but not much else.. there's the good one of the long retrieve aswell...
-
How different do you train them to a lab?
-
I still fancy a chessie as my next dog, still probably couple of years before I'll need a pup I think... But I hear too many stories, of how they sulk, and how they refuse to hand over the retrieve , iv not seen this first hand. But have heard several times... Any of you lads that keep them found this? Cheers
-
Got few pounds off each of these... £30 a 1lb plus postage
-
Just found couple of chokes in gun bag, original chokes 1/4 and full, free to anyone who requires them.. pm your address and I'll post them out
-
If you haven't already bought it, don't ..spend the money on some decent heavy stuff and load goose loads.. chopping and changing guns won't help put more in the bag.... Probably like most lads on here, iv had 8,10 bores... I now mainly use a 12 bore yeoman, for everything just change the cartridge to suit the occasion
-
Sorry all gone,
-
