Arrieta Sabel 25 sidelock 12 gauge
sabel25 replied to Gun Watch's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
Thanks for the pics It has a mark on top but i think that has always been there since i bought it new If i can recall it was reduced in price as was the other one they had at the gun shop There is a slight indent to the right hand of the stock but this can be lifted out with an iron as it is an oiled stock Not often south Could be rfd'd if you wish to look it over at a cost of £25.00 at my end Cheers -

Arrieta Sabel 25 sidelock 12 gauge
sabel25 replied to Gun Watch's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
Arrieta make the side by sides for William Powell of London and sell for £4000 to £5000 I doubt if an english side lock with detatchable side plates can be found for under £1000 that are nitro proofed or have 2 3/4" chambers That are not produced outside the UK AYA used to do engraving for Holland and Holland -

Thats where i bought mine 40 years ago It was a lot cheaper then But i still have it and use it to train ESS pups and it is as good as the day i bought it the moral to this is it may seem a lot but you will get your money's worth and will last a life time and i still deal with Turner Richard from time to time It maybe that dr.lecter has a few extra's come with it

Lincoln No.2 - Sideplate 12 gauge
sabel25 replied to Gun Watch's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
You should perhaps consider RFDimg as it is not that expensive and you will attract a lot more pertentual buyers I have RFD 'd on numerous occations both buying and selling without any problems The last gun i sold here on PW went RFD and all went champion Just a thought mate and good luck with your sale They are a good gun at the money -
Lincoln No.2 - Sideplate 12 gauge
sabel25 replied to Gun Watch's topic in Guns for Sale (Private Sales)
Yes they are made by a member of the Rizzini family Isadore Rizzinni owns FAIR (Fabbrica Arms Issadore Rizzini ) who make many of the Lincolns seen in the UK I have this same gun without the recoil pad which i bought recently as a knock about rough shooting gun Their well put together and the woodwork is well figured for a gun in this sort of price range -
Thar's a shame but it's a bit expensive to send by courier as of the weight
