Hi James , it would be easier to go to a dealer and agree a price to get you a rifle. That way if he is interested he can take your old gun a funding. Or buy the rifle, use the shotgun as funding and I am sure the dealer has a DBBL which is a donor gun. One on, one off if you know what I mean. That way you will have a DBBL on your license and I don't think you have to apply for a new request for a DBBL to be added to your certificate. If I am incorrect in this can someone give a bit of better advice. Where are you in this vast country of ours ? P.M me if you wish

Why do you describe the thread as strange Westward??? I was unsure of the gun make and asked if anyone knew of the make or if the rfd had made an error. Thankfully the good folk on here gave me the Wealth of their experience and answered my question. Now the thread can be locked down or deleted.
